At our arrival we were shown our two separate rooms, private bathroom and a breakfast room for our use only. Because the weather was fine, we were invited into the garden to have coffee, tea and lovely home baked carrot cake. Pauline (and husband Chris) showed great interest in are holiday plans. At arrival rooms and bathroom, bed and bedlinnen, toilet and bathroom were all impeccably clean and we were very much impressed by the very authentic and striking way that Pauline had decorated the whole place. Not to speak about the breakfast table which was beautifully laid out with a wide variety of fruit, bread, yoghurts, jams, cheese and ham. The breakfast menu showed a beautiful choice of items e.g. full Irish breakfast, serials and porridge. All for a very reasonable € 12,50 pp (July 2023) We had a lovely two night stay at Brookvale. Great compliments to Pauline for managing this place so well and with so much commitment, beside her busy and responsible job in Eniscourty. Highly recommended.

We had a lovely stay in a very cozy and beautiful house. The owner is so kind and made us feel like home, she welcomed us with the fireplace lit and the morning after we enjoyed a really delicious homemade complete breakfast. The rooms are big, spacious and beautifully decorated, and the bathroom was new and very clean. She left for us at the room water, tea and coffee. The house is right at the town center so we parked the car and walked everywhere. We will definetely repeat and we strongly recommend it.
