Hostess was friendly, accommodating; room and bath were spacious. Shower particularly nice. Outside Bayreuth 30 minutes but easy to find and a great value, though cash only.

Burg Rabenstein provides unique rooms and suites with castle-themed décor. Each room has a spacious bathroom with bathtub, hairdryer and toiletries. All rooms can be reached by elevator. We had a pleasant and instructive stay at the Burg Rabenstein with a visit to the Sophienhöhle. The rooms were very comfortable. We have never slept so well. The castle and its history are worth taking the time for the tour and others activities. We are looking forward to coming in the Summer again.
