The room is clean. For a room for 4pax, the room is spacious, the sink is separated from the toilet and this makes it convenient for us, as we take turns to use the toilet. The hair dryer was powerful. the room has a small balcony with a view towards the public carpark lot opposite. During our stay. the surrounding is quiet and peaceful. there are two 7-11 nearby. the hotel is new and nice. there is very few restaurant available nearby. we were provided with the mosquito repellent vaporiser in the room. Breakfast was a platter with sausage, bread, salad eggs etc, with a coffee machine and yakult available at the ground floor. There is additional seating space on 2nd floor. The hotel makes us feel safe and comfortable for our stay. The lady at the hotel is very friendly.

The room was incredible and very modern. The bathroom was clean and new. It rained during our stay and it was very relaxing and nice to be able to relax in the clean room and wait for the rain to pass.

We booked 3 rooms at the Hu Yue Hotel in Ita Thao and all of them had fabulous views of Sun Moon Lake. The staff was very helpful during check-in and again when we had to leave early due to a typhoon. They refunded us the last night of our stay without any issues which I really appreciated since we were already stressed out about the storm and having to find other accommodations. The lake is beautiful and there are several different sights to see around the area including a nice walking trail around part of the lake. The breakfast at the hotel was a buffet style with a decent mix of Western options (ham, eggs) and Taiwanese style food.

Staff was friendly and helpful (and accommodating to any allergies) Not far from the town and amenities. (Less than 10 minute walk). It's just far enough outside town that it feels like a forest escape. 2 adorable cats on the facility. Nice breakfast. Highly recommend.
