We had the pleasure of spending two nights at *Guesthouse Planinski Dom Majerhold* in Logarska Dolina, and the experience was absolutely wonderful! From the very first moment, we were impressed by the attention to detail—both inside the guesthouse and in the beautifully landscaped garden. Nestled near the forest, wooden figurines placed at the edge create a magical story, inviting children to explore and let their imagination roam. Our hosts were extremely kind, always attentive to guests’ needs, and their hospitality made every moment special. The food was delicious, prepared with local ingredients, turning each meal into a true journey through the region’s authentic flavors. Our room was spotlessly clean, comfortable, and had a warm, welcoming atmosphere. And the view from the garden toward the mountains was truly breathtaking—a perfect place for relaxation and contemplation. Additionally, the guesthouse provides a children’s play area, and even an outdoor fireplace. The location is ideal for exploring Logarska Dolina Park, and the proximity to attractions such as Kapela Kristusa Kralja and Sveti Duh added even more charm to our stay. The attention to details was exceptional. Every little corner of this unique resort (outdoor and indoor) is testimony of the passion put by its owners to value the beauty of local landscape. Our tent was beautifully designed—spacious, very clean, and equipped with everything we could possibly need: comfortable beds, private bathroom, hot tub, a cozy sitting area in front. One of the highlights was the dining experience. The locally inspired food tasted delicious—rivaling any high-end restaurant. The staff were thoughtful and full of warmth. Another highlight was sipping out the morning coffee at the sound of birdsongs. It is truly a unique place to detox digitally and connect with nature.

Very nice location with a great view. The hosts are absolutely wonderful. They share things from their garden, provide information about the area and are just generally very nice people. You can lounge in the backyard. They have bunnies you can feed. There are bikes you can take to ride around. There are two ski jumping slopes nearby, we even got to see a training session which was nice. It’s a 30 min drive to Logarska Dolina. You can also bike around the area quite easily.

The location and the views are astonishing. The staff(Miša) is excellent. She told us so much about the history of the place and we had some great chit chat! Very welcoming and warm environment. The food was also excellent and the rooms were clean and comfortable. Recommended!

Even though we arrived 10 days after the massive floodings in the area, everything was as expected at the property. The apartments were spacious for our families, the beds were comfortable and the kitchen was well equipped. The pool outside was a very nice surprise. The kids loved it. The restaurant was unfortunately closed, due to the flooding, but the staff was nice and recommended us alternatives for eating and also redirected us to other touristic destinations, since Logar Valley was not reachable. The location is suitable for skiing season too. It is really close to Golte cable car. We only had 1 night booked, but at the end I wished we have stayed more.
