View and location were great. We are backpackers. The host was very nice and kind; they prepared laundry lines and pins, so we could dried our laundry. They shared their cook place, when we left the host's son dropped us off at the bus stop.

An amazing place! Located up a hill, away from very busy Ella town. Cabins are specious, beautiful finished and very clean. We woke up every day to a sunrise which we could admire from our balcony of each cabin. The host is just exceptional! Delicious home cooked breakfast is delivered to your room every morning. We also took a cookery class at the property and were able to enjoy home cooked meal together! 10 out of 10!

We were warmly welcomed: the place itself is amazing, every design detail contributes to the overall look. The bathroom is gorgeous with a spacious shower area. The terrace has an outstanding view over the valley and there is a hammock where you can admire it! Breakfast is served to the terrace, at the time you want it. Loved this stay!

This is the best homestay that we’ve had in Sri Lanka! Wijith Wimalasooriya and the whole family were extremely kind and helped us with doing the wash and recommending places to visit. They even arranged a tea tour for us. Her husband is a great tuktuk driver and the 2 kids are very funny and kind. The place is clean and quite, while it’s very close to the city center. The breakfast was perfect!

Everything. The view is magnificent. The bathroom was nice spacious and clean. The bed were unique and cute. The food was so much, so nyummy made with so much love. We paid for half board We got breakfast and dinner it was just beyond and above exceed my expectations. and it was a lot I think I put 5 kilos since I have been holidaying I srilanka. The family just amazing and I would go down to the unique kitchen cooking with wood fire and made of mud stove. I love this family so much is like my adopted family in sri lanka. We came to Sri Lanka for our honeymoon this place was highlighted our stay they also made beautiful stone with our photos of us in sri lanka and it was making me cried how beautiful this family is. Imantha he is the best beautiful soul ❤️ who's always checking in on us. You are my extended family that I can't thank you enough how beautiful you truly are that I can't wait to come back and live there. Thank you my God mother and Dad for making us like your own family. Janith, the host of the homestay was the loveliest person, very helpful with anything you need, you name it: an occasional eviction of a gecko from the room, the best restaurant recommendation in Ella (Cafe Samsara) or arranging a driver for us. In the morning we opted for the traditional Sri Lankan breakfast and it was the best breakfast we had during our entire trip, for sure.

Awesome spot, great view, super nice room, really good breakfast. Stay here if you can. Rented a scooter from them for the standard rate in town with zero hassle. Short walk to town isn't an issue and the view is worth it (better than the photos).
