Staff were excellent, really helpful. We got upgraded to a slightly larger room. Location was extraordinary, dead central and really easy to walk anywhere (very helpful in the middle of winter). Hotel was very quiet and relaxed. Would stay again.

Center of city, close to everything, 5 minutes from downtown, close bus station which allowed really handy pickups to tours and excursions when the weather was rough, the shared bathroom ain't that bad considering there are 1 on each floor and depends on the people staying there how long they take,which is not long, really helpful staff which aided me in every request, if I ever visit Iceland again definitely will stay there again

Buffet breakfast was stupendous--featuring local meats and dairy, and vegan nut & fruit porridge. Dinner was served in the same dining area with a small but tasty menu. Overall, the staff was friendly and knowledgeable, clearly dedicated to their work in the hospitality industry.
