Great location - saw the northern lights and views are very pretty. Room was big and comfy. Heaters worked very well and kitchen was well stocked and everything was very clean. All in all a perfect stay for us!

A very nice place, clean, comfortable bed, good breakfast. Nice hosts, we didn't know if we would arrive because there were problems with the road due to heavy rains and they offered to refund our money. But we arrived and felt very good, for dinner we had the best lamb. Thank you!

The place is beautiful, fully equipped, with a good coffee machine, and the owner is very kind and helpfull ! Furthermore the guesthouse is in the center of Hofn and 50m from the sea. Strongly recommended !

This is a very nice place, in a quiet area, with beautiful mountain views. You can see a part of the glacier from there too. The staff is very friendly, breakfast is abundent and good, and the coffee, tea and hot chocolate are avilable all through the day. It's a 5-10 minute walk to the center of Hofn where there are a few nice restaurants. I don't think there is a better place to stay in this area.

Set just 1 km from Hornafjördur Airport. Free WiFi access. The Route 1 Ring Road is right next to the guest house. A seating area and work desk feature in all guest rooms at Seljavellir Guesthouse.

Very clean and warm also very quiet. The location is where I see the aurora for the first time. The service is very kind.

Nice modern hotel for a good price, a rarity in Iceland! We've paid more for hostels with a shared bathroom. Here we had a clean room with private bathroom, complementary coffee and tea, and a great view to top it off :-) Definitely try the Pakhús restaurant nearby: great langoustines and lamb! We walked toward the minigolf at midnight to see the northern lights and had a great night's sleep afterwards.
