Communication with the host was excellent - we knew exactly how to get our key and check in. Loved the fact that there was a washer and dryer! Lots of amenities in the kitchen so we could make our own food, and two large areas to sit and eat. The couch and chairs in the sitting area were very comfortable. Room was good, and bathrooms were clean. Highly recommend!

Hotel was beautiful and clean, and the view was amazing. The woman at the front desk, Thortis, was absolutely lovely and added to the wonderful experience.

I was in the old wing, the facility is a bit old but very clean. The room is spacious. Staff were friendly.

I loved the hospitality and hygiene at Arnanes. Everything looked so clean and nice. And also the way the hotel is situated in nature is amazing. A great view upon the mountains, that's even more beautiful with sunrise and sunset! The owners were very friendly and always in for a chat, and even some sightseeing and aurora advice. Bonus for Dutch travelers: the owner also speaks a good amount of Dutch! I'm definitely coming back to this hotel if I visit Iceland again. Really enjoyed my stay there.

It was very good! The staff were incredibly nice and the breakfast was delicious! It was our first time in Iceland and we miscalculated the distance because of the weather. The car was out of fuel when we got there and they helped us get some. Thank you very much for your help! So we could continue our journey in peace.

Beautiful hotel in a picturesque setting with a view of the nearby glacier if the weather is clear. We loved the restaurant in the hotel and our service was excellent. This was the only Fosshotel our group stayed at while in Iceland as they were generally more pricey than our other accommodations, but we thought it was well worth it!
