We had a great time there and liked everything about it. The house is lovely furnished, the room we had was cosy and had all we needed (and more). The breakfast is delicious and prepared with love. If you are not sure what to do or search for ideas i would recommend a chat with the host. He is open to give great advice and tips for trips, restaurants and more! Good quiet location, easy parking,very comfortable beds, generous sized room, spotlessly clean. Fabulous garden area with several seating areas to relax (if your lucky with the weather which we were!) Wendy was so charming, nothing was too much trouble for her. Good choice of both cereals and cooked items for breakfast and freshly prepared to order. Just a little tip, if you do require gluten free breakfast options just drop her message in advance, it helps with her planning and prevents food being wasted. Would definitely recommend Grove House and hope to return there. Room 5 has lovely views of the garden and mountains.

Excellent location just outside Carlingford and Greenore. The lady of the house cooks a fine feed of breakfast. Much better than staying at a hotel and the room was massive. I plan to make a trip up for the Cooley poc fada in 2024. Please God this venue is available when I return.
