The breakfast was exceptional, with a wide choice and cooked to order. The room was very clean and well equipped with tea, coffee machine, biscuits, water. We booked last minute and had a city view room as that was the only one left. We were really happy in it but know that the sea view rooms are amazing. We loved our room which was very comfortable and the furnishings and the colours used were very relaxing. The location is great, only a 10 minute drive to Whitstable and you feel like you are staying in the countryside. It was so quiet too which we loved. Staff are lovely. There were plenty of tables and chairs plus garden sofas on the terraces to sit and enjoy a drink and a meal if you wished. Short walk to town and Whitstable is a great place to visit. The staff at the hotel were so helpful & efficient. Breakfast was fantastic & the lady running the 'Breakfast Buffet Area' was a warm & friendly character that made us smile every morning and she couldn't do enough for us (same can be said for all the staff throughout the hotel) Highly recommend a stay here.
