Excellent b/fast for all 3 of us. Well looked after by Paul and the very cheerful gentleman who served b/fast.Just out of interest, to us anyway, is that we had our wedding reception at the George on the 18th May 1963 so has always been a special place.

    Room -good size, quiet. Has standing fan and additional mobile heater. Spacious bathroom and lovely power shower. Breakfast was relaxed (allocated timing to avoid crowding). Choice of continental and cooked breakfast. Lovely local bread. Free parking spaces available but tight - need exceptional parking skills and patients. Nearby council parking available (free on weekends).

    Amazing staff, central location for our 2 night stay, free parking, comfortable room and relaxing bar and restaurant areas. Refurbished areas and ambiance are lovely, including the outside courtyard area. Nothing was too much trouble for the ever attentive reception, bar and cleaning staff.

    The staff where amazing and made us feel welcome. Inside the building was beautiful as where the views of Rutland water and the open log fire made for the perfect romantic touch whilst relaxing in the bar area.

    When I booked our room I advised them that we were celebrity are anniversary so the upgraded our room free of charge which was lovely. The staff member was super friendly and gave us all the information we needed about our stay. Would definitely return.
