Nothing, nothing, nothing beats a romantic stay like a night in a medieval castle. We stayed for the missus birthday in Schloss Waldeck. We had clear skies, sunny weather. And an Absolutely stunning view. Great food and a stunning view. This hotel deserves it's "excellent" rating!

My family and I decided to take a spontaneous vacation for the weekend and we couldn't have been more pleased with the decision to book a room at the Maritime Hotel in Bad Wildungen. The reception staff was exceptional, going out of their way to answer any questions or assist us. My daughter loved the fitness room and my wife found the food and dining delightful. We stayed here for one night as a stop over on our way to Dresden. We had low expectations, but it was actually quite nice. The staff is very friendly, although they only speak German. Our room was spacious and very clean. The breakfast buffet had lots of good options!

Superb hotel , staff really helpful ( I think it was actually the owner ) , fantastic location , couldn’t have been happier.
