One of the best hotels out of hundreds of hotels I stayed before. Every piece of hotel is filled with style and history. We played the pool, listened to the antique radio that worked perfectly and enjoyed amazing view of the mountains. Amazing dinner and breakfast. I liked that there is no single TV in the hotel but the books and binoculars instead.

The Grandhotel Giessbach is a historic house from 1874 and enjoys a secluded position on a hill above Lake Brienz amid a 22-hectare park.

Breakfast was great. Location is very strategic as it’s only 3 minutes walk from the train station and the Mt Titlis ticket office is only 7 minutes walk from the hotel. Our room was clean. Beds were clean. Our room has a balcony too facing to the other Alps. And the hotel staff also gave us our takeaway breakfast on the day we checked out.. but including those two coloured boiled eggs in the photo .. thanks to Luzia, Rebecca and the other lady in the kitchen 😇

Everything, the spa was not crowded and plenty of space. The bed is ultra confortable. The staff is incredible. Bikes are free. They also gave us some swimsuit as we forgot ours. We could as well borrow a backpack for free. Charging the car is free at night. What else?
