United KingdomThe Lodge was amazing. The food, breakfast and dinner was fantastic. I would highly recommend you stay in for the dinner. We used the golf facility as well and I must say it was the best 9 hole golf course I've ever played.

Beautiful part of the country. Short drive to Nottingham Road, Spar, petrol station. It rained while we were there so we didn't get a chance to walk around. Huge grounds allow you to get away for some peace and quiet if you want, but we did not feel overwhelmed by people and the place was full.
