The facility was really beautiful, the room was very nice and well cleaned! And the staff was very friendly, they always asked us if everything was good and we even got a kind of personal assitance person that we could text at any time if we had questions or requests! They also upgraded our room without asking and without any extra cost which was a very positive surprise! 10/10 experience!

If you want to stay away from the city noise and enjoy the beautiful view of the sea and ships travelling, I highly recommend this hotel. It's quite cosy and comfortable. The hotel is run by a very friendly family. They will help to settle and organise tours for you along beautiful Ha Long. If you are riding a motorbike, they also have a service for motorbike rental.

The best hotel we visited in Vietnam!! I lost my ring and they helped me tremendously by looking at camera footage at the pool. The rooftop with swimming pool and fitness is amazing and truly the best hotel experience we had in Vietnam so far. The hotel is very beautifully decorated and has a wonderful piano in the lobby, so I won't miss my piano at home. Thank you very much for the great service at Halong!!

    The kindness of Minh Hue is off the charts. It is one of the best hosts we have had the pleasure to meet. She answered all our questions, helped us book bus tickets, gave us recommendations, picked us up and dropped us off in the port, bought us food, the list goes on. We really appreciated it. The place is very cute, super close to the beach where you can watch sunsets and a quick drive to the center, for us it was perfect. The room is very modern and the bathroom is spacious and you even have access to netflix. We can’t recommend it enough.

    Yen Tu is a mountain area with a highest peak of over 1000 meters. Hiking to Yen Tu Mountain is a fantastic and spiritual experience. You will see a lot of old temples of more than 700 years, which gives you a feeling back in ancient time.

    Co To Island is a very peaceful place.

    Co To Island is a very peaceful place. We were perhaps the only tourists from Europe there. Otherwise only local. On the other hand, there is nothing much to do there, we went there to relax for a while and the place was perfect for that. Empty beaches, warm sea, nice people. The problem was with the trash on the beach. They are still trying to clean it up, but they say the sea from China is still washing up there. Garbage is a problem in Vietnam as a whole.

    We planned to stay in Halong for 1 day, on our way to Cat Ba...

    We planned to stay in Halong for 1 day, on our way to Cat Ba island and planned to stay another day on our way back to Hanoi. Due to rough seas after typhoon Kajiki, we stayed 2 days in Halong. The town is very quiet, many businesses and hotels are closed and it shows what happens to a once busy and thriving place, when the tourists no longer come in their previous numbers. Unfortunately, we will stay the extra day now in Hanoi on our way back.

    The downside is the transportation to + forth.

    The downside is the transportation to + forth. We bought tickets on a shuttle van from Hanoi. There must be better options but the resort doesn't offer transportation services. So, you either hire a private car at $100 USD one way or pay $12 USD one way for a seat on a shuttle van. These vans will pick people up on their way as well as cargo so priority is whoever or whatever comes first. It took 3.5 Hours from Hanoi + 4 hours on thew way back. Drivers are OK but they can be extremely aggressive on the road to meet their timeframe.

    Our overnight stay in Paradise Suites was very pleasant and was just what we required for our cruise the next morning. The hotel was great and the staff very good. Would be happy to recommend this hotel to friends and family.

    The service was excellent, comfort of the room, bed particularly, balcony with the view to the pool and green. The surrounding nature is fabulous if you like nature. Just exploring and walk around the compound and village is nice thing to do. There were horses, would be nice if they are more taken care for, and activity of horse riding around the nature with guide would be a plus.
