We had a wonderful stay at Sakurakyo Hotel! The room was spacious, clean, and had a stunning sea view. The staff were very friendly and helpful throughout our stay. I especially enjoyed the complimentary cable car tickets to Hon Thom Island. Great value for money - highly recommended if you want to enjoy sunset views and peaceful surroundings.

It is a studio apartment. The room as spacious enough for both of us, complete with comfortable bed, fridge, two burner induction stove, hairdryer. They have room cleaning services everyday. Location was amazing. You can see almost the entire Sunset Town from level 16. You can watch the Kiss of the Sea show and the spectacular fireworks show from level 16 and enjoy the pool. The building located few blocks ups from the cable car station and for muslim, few hundred meters from Sarah halal restaurant.

My friend and I had a fantastic time staying here over four days after a work trip. We were greeted with welcome drinks at check in, thanks Trang! We had dinner there each night and enjoyed the western menus as well as the traditional menu. Thu, the manager, is great. Our room was spacious and cleaned every day, complimentary water in the rooms. The spa located in the hotel is convenient and really relaxing. All in all a great time

We got an upgrade to a seaview room and would highly recommend getting a room with seaview. From the balcony you can enjoy beautiful sunsets and see the daily Kiss of the Ocean show and the fireworks! The hotel and the rooms are brand new and everything is really clean and modern. The food is also very good. The staff was friendly and helpful. And we even got a free ticket for the cable car and aqua park. For us it was the perfect stay and we can highly recommend Casepia

Lovely retreat for those looking for serenity. Pool area was so beautiful and calm, almost felt like a private pool most days. Breakfast available by order. Amazingly well kept garden and just beautiful place overall. Room was so comfy and bathroom so spacious. Restaurants near by. Beach also in a decent walking distant. Perfect spot for relaxing. We had a fantastic time at this property! Everything was just as described, if not better. The location was great—close to the beach, swimming pool, and local market, yet still quiet and relaxing. Our room was clean, cozy, and well-maintained. The staff was incredibly welcoming and went out of their way to make our stay comfortable. We had everything we needed, and the service exceeded our expectations. We especially appreciated the friendly personnel, the easy check-in process, and, of course, the free coffee, and free scooter, this is just amazing. The administrator, Stephen, is truly a great person. He helped us through WhatsApp anytime, 24/7, even with questions not related to the hotel. We would definitely come back and highly recommend this place to others! Rating: 10/10

We enjoyed our stay at the hotel a lot, the staff was exceptional. Although they didn't speak English well and we didnt speak Vietnamese at all, we perfectly communicated via google translate :) They helped us to book a Safari tour, cable car ride. The location was perfect as we got to walk around the Sunset Town and see the fireworks every evening. The room was super clean and with a perfect view :) I want to thank the staff once again :)

    I was pleasantly surprised by my stay at the Tropicana Resort - it wasn't one of the best rated hotels when I was doing the research, however it had excellent location and I decided to book it. Everything went great onsite, the staff were extremely nice, my room had sea view which was amazing to wake up to every morning. I would definitely book it again and I think it is an excellent choice for people that want to stay at a nice place at the beach and don't want to spend tons of money for it. There is also a great restaurant nearby that you should not miss to visit - Tween's Kitchen.

    This hotel is pure aesthetics in every detail. The service is outstanding, and the restaurant is truly deserving of a 10 out of 5 rating. The breakfast selection is vast, and the restaurant's ambiance, coupled with high-quality service, is exceptional. The pool is fantastic, even for those who enjoy competitive swimming. It’s about 23 meters long with a sufficient depth! The atmosphere by the pool is lovely, with relaxing music playing in the background. The bar offers great cocktails and smoothies. It’s truly a pleasure to stay here.

    We were very happy with where we stayed on the Island as it...

    We were very happy with where we stayed on the Island as it was still very natural and the maintenance and protection of the natural environment was exceptional. However we were deeply shocked (appalled actually) when we saw other very built up parts of the Island with hotels and empty buildings by the block full. It was mass tourism and deeply disturbing and unattractive not to mention an awful destruction of the environment and local communities. For this reason we would not return to Phu Quoc and would not recommend it to other travellers.

    Ha Tien is an interesting area, sprawled out along the ocean, consisting of waterfront, restaurants, beaches, and swimming areas. places to drive and walk and explore. I have fun on my motorbike, ranging all over the area and felt quite safe. There are newer, developing areas and older established areas. The downtown areas seem to have pretty basic hotels not many foreigners here as it’s a favourite for Vietnamese people to visit during the holiday holidays.

    Phu qouc has the best weather, just cold and warm enough. The food is awesome. Its not as commercialised as other cities in vietnam. Its a cute small island with the perfect blend of love and culture. The roads are awesome, the infrastructure is awesome, the people are awesome.

    A good place for 2-3 day breaks. The traditional part of the town is a good place to walk round. The streets are not crowded. There is a large ‘CoopMart’ supermarket for supplies. There are 1 or 2 western style cofffee shops to relax in such as the “Everyday” coffee shop which sits just back from the water. At night there are a number of large modern and smart Asian restaurants. A lot of money is being devoted towards developing not just this coastal part of Vietnam but also the adjoining coastal region of Cambodia.

    I think I chose the wrong time to visit the island..

    I think I chose the wrong time to visit the island.. Almost the whole time it was raining. The water was rough around this side of the island, and locals suggested to avoid getting into the water for safety reasons. Couldn't do much of exploring due to the weather. If you wish to enjoy the island, the best thing to do is avoid travelling between June to October (rains are unpredictable and annoying). Towards the end of October till about March, the place can be a gem.. This may probably be another reason why it's considered as the peak season by many travellers. Avoid staying in 1-hotel as travelling can take up a lot of time. Split your stay in 3-zones. North = Vinpearl + Star Fish beach + Grand World. South = Cable car, serene beaches, pearl factory, leisure time Central = Temples and markets and city tour, etc. + easiest to reach the Airport. Remember - check-in times are usually 12pm and check-out is 10am. Plan your arrival/departure accordingly. Another important thing to keep in mind is Food. If you have food restrictions, please book places which serve international food rather than just Vietnamese cuisine. Travelling around the city can be free. Yes - thanks to their Green Bus. But the flip side is the accessibility and timing. Routes are defined and based on the routes, bus timings differ(sometimes the wait can be more than 1hr, depending on the location you are at or where you need to go). Overall - I think I'll need another visit(maybe longer - 4 nights and 5 days) and at a different time of the year (Nov/Dec) to properly explore the whole Island and experience all that's there :)

    Ha Tien is great place of the nature created but will turn the tourists off because the beauty of nature places is not clean and need to repairs it or up grade to make it better in order to attractive to the tourists.
