I booked the Wentworth for my wife and I (plus two other couples with whom we were vacationing). We ALL loved the place!!! Our bedroom was very well appointed. It felt simply felt luxurious from the bed to decor. We appreciated the snack area was well-stocked with yummy treats. The staff were super-welcoming and helpful. And one evening when our group of six was finishing our food in the lounge, one of the staff (maybe the manager?) came by our table to remove our garbage (plastics and recyclable containers). I really didn't expect that level of service as I would have cleaned up after myself. The Wentworth definitely treated us in an "above & beyond" fashion.

The chalet was absolutely wonderful! It adorable and smells like freshly cut wood. We loved being nestled in the woods. The cabin was cozy and warm and immaculately clean. The beds were comfortable. It had all the items we needed for our stay and the snow outside was beautiful. This is the perfect spot for folks visiting the area to ski or go tubing or just to relax.

I thought there would be a little bit more to do in the area. The town was small, although there was an outlet shopping center about 5 minutes from the center of town. We enjoyed eating at the Black Cap Grille, and Horsefeather, in town. There are also tons of places that are open for breakfast and lunch only. This is where we had the best meals. Ate at 3 different ones, and they were all good. I think this is better suited for outdoor enthusiasts.

It was close to other places we were going while staying there. We ate at Mary's Pizza in Cascade Flats and the portions were large enough that we brought back half our meals and ate them for supper the next night. We attended the parade at Milan Old Home Days and went on the van ride ride up the Mt. Washington Auto Road. The temperature was warm for the summit and the view was limited but not totally in the clouds. We drove to Berlin to River's Edge Ice Cream. We sat across the street on a park bench with a view of the river and ate our cones. Then we walked across the footbridge and back. It was an enjoyable and easy well lit evening walk along the bridge and sidewalk.

We were there on a Monday evening and Tuesday evening in early October. Since it is right in the crossroads of so many of the highways/routes used for the leaf peeping season, we thought it would be a great stop. Absolutely NOT! There were no restaurants open and essentially nothing of interest there.

Another enjoyable anniversary at the Omni Mount Washington...

Another enjoyable anniversary at the Omni Mount Washington Hotel! I’ve visited yearly since 2016, and this time made sure to book a table at Stickney’s early—dinner was excellent, and we loved hiking the nearby trails. The courteous staff made our stay pleasant as always, though a few surprises came up: an upgraded room ended up being noisy due to guests above us, and a new $20 self-parking fee for overnight guests was added on top of the $45 resort fee, catching me off guard at checkout. Still it's an awesome place to stay and I highly recommend Omni Mount Washington! I will be back next year.

We ate at two very good restaurants - especially El Mirador, which has excellent Central American home made food and the best guac and chips we've ever had. The store Lonesome Woods has a very interesting collection of mostly New Hampshire-related things for sale, antique and new, and the owner was great fun to talk to. While Main Street may not be as charming as one imagines a New England town to be, but it is sophisticated enough, with a good range of businesses, and is very well situated for easy access to the mountains. It's a real town with local people making Bethlehem work for them.

Bartlett was a great location for easy access to both Pinkham Notch and Crawford Notch areas. It is a quiet area outside of North Conway but close enough for restaurants and shopping. Jackson village is close by as well. There is a supermarket within 3 miles. We enjoyed cross country skiing and the many beautiful hiking trails this winter. The snow is always reliable and the whole area is a winter wonderland. We enjoy the white mountains in summer as well. There is an abundance of activities available in all seasons!
