- Scored out of 10, guest rating 8.5Very good - What previous guests thought, 288 reviewsThe location is fabulous - breath taking views over the mountains. All staff were very friendly and always attentive. Breakfast was lovely - coffee with an amazing view and the choices on the menu great, out favorite was the salmon/pea puree toast, yummy! We also hit the bar a couple of times and burger, brisket & chicken sandwich were excellent - paired with craft beer on tap. We enjoyed the pool as well as the lake nearby where we did stand up paddling. There are numerous hiking trails leaving right from the resort - again, beautiful scenery, all well marked. The room was a standard size, two comfy beds and a completely remodeled, modern bathroom. We stayed in 322 - nice mountain view yet the view on the other side is even better. Winthrop is an idyllic little town with many eclectic boutiques and good restaurant options - our favorite by far was Jupiter. So all in all - highly recommendable to stay at the lodge. There a number of highly critical reviews and we were honestly rather skeptical when driving up to the lodge. We cannot judge what may have went wrong with others, yet from our experience of staying here for days we can give a clear 5 star rating!lGuest review byMeikeGermany
- From US$499.76 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 9.1Superb - What previous guests thought, 135 reviewsIf you’re a fan of Twin Peaks or simply looking for a place full of atmosphere and natural beauty, this hotel will exceed your expectations. The hotel sits right above Snoqualmie Falls, and the view from the terrace is breathtaking. The rooms are spacious and cozy, with fireplaces and luxurious bathtubs. Everything is done with great attention to detail. The staff is polite and attentive, and you truly feel like a welcomed guest. The most striking part is the feeling that you’re inside the world of Twin Peaks. The recognizable facade, the scenery — everything feels like it came straight from the screen, yet it’s a peaceful and comfortable place to relax.Guest review byRomanEstonia
- From US$155.10 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 8.5Very good - What previous guests thought, 653 reviewsI really enjoyed my stay at Lucky Eagle Hotel. The room was spacious, clean, and very quiet, which made for a great night’s sleep. The staff were friendly and welcoming, and check-in was quick and easy. We didn’t visit the casino, but the hotel itself felt relaxing and well-maintained. The location was convenient, and everything we needed was right there. I’d definitely stay again!Guest review byMarkUnited States

We came to Seattle by accident!
We came to Seattle by accident! Our flights to Vancouver Island were cancelled given an Air Canada strike so flew to Seattle instead thinking we could get to Vancouver by car and from there to Victoria. In the end we got the Clipper Ferry from Seattle to Victoria which was a wonderful trip and likely saved us time. Also spotted whales on the journey, a nice bonus. We had just a day in Seattle, went to the Chihuly Garden and Glass which was truly amazing then took the Seattle monorail to downtown, visited the market. Didn't do the Space Needle, another time maybe. What an amazing place and has given us the taste - we'll be back!Guest review byPeterUnited Kingdom - 4.0

It's amazing SeaTac functions at all, it is not user friendly in any way, it's way too crowded and officials in any capacity are stressed and not particularly friendly. Not a great experience for those visiting Seattle, but there's no other optionGuest review bybryanUnited States - 4.0

Many stores close early this time of year. (Sept) The 18 hole miniature golf at Icicle Village Resort was challenging and FUN. Only visitors to the Fish Hatchery. Watched a coho salmon being caught for transfer to another site.Guest review byMarthaUnited States - 10.0

Beautiful little town, especially at Christmastime, with wonderful decorations. Chick-Fil-A is conveniently located, lots of little shops and a great Mall. Snowflake Lane's small show from Thanksgiving through Christmas is only 20 min, but worth driving 4 hours and staying overnight just to see.Guest review byCliveUnited States - 10.0
You MUST stay at the Olympic Lodge by Ayers!
You MUST stay at the Olympic Lodge by Ayers! Beautiful, cozy environment, very nice continental breakfast, lovely fireplace and lots of seating, and we loved the hot tub! The staff was fantastic. We're not so out of shape that we can't get around just fine, but we're also not hiking enthusiasts. So if you're looking for stunning scenery/views with little-to-no hiking experience, the drive through Lake Crescent was other-worldly beautiful with frequent opportunities to stop and take pics/use the restroom, and the trail to the waterfall in Sol Duc Falls was straight out of a fairy tale. It was about 1.5 miles(ish) and totally worth it. If I can do it, you can do it!Guest review byMary BethUnited States - 10.0

Bellingham has a really nice safe vibe. Family friendly, no skyscrapers, easy to get around. Lots of great restaurants, coffee houses etc.We much preferred it to the big city vibe in Seattle. I only live 30 min north of Vancouver, my reason for visiting was my pets and 4th of July noise. If you are visiting the Portland Or/Vancouver area, the Vancouver side of the river is just less crowded than the Portland side. For a very good meal, Little Italy downtown Vancouver has been one of my favorites for several years great food and good people. Visiting especially down town Portland, I would recommend driving to the Van Port park and ride then take the yellow line train into down town, way easier and cheaper than paying for parking downtown. If it is raining go to the expo center park and ride, it's the end of the line there is always a train there so you can wait inside the train. In Portland, every one uses the train. And umbrellas are for tourist lolGuest review byrotharmel
