We had an amazing time at Paradis Eco-Hub. Although we arrived late and got stuck in the mud, the staff came and picked us up after a long day on the road. The communication before our arrival was helpful to find parking and coordinate arrival times. We stayed in the room without a door, which was amazing. Thick blankets and mosquito nets over the beds were provided and waking up to the sound of birds was magical. The best room to stay in for sure. The main lodge is equipped with wifi, a comfortable seating area and games and an amazing view of the lake The staff were always helpful and the food selection from the kitchen was great. We took one of the tours offered by Paradis Eco-Hub and were not disappointed by the views and all the information we got about the area. There is a swimming dock where you can sit and enjoy the view, bird watch or go for a swim in the lake or you can take a walk around the island or sit in front of your hut and enjoy the peace and quiet of the area. This is definitely the place to stay at when visiting Lake Bunyonyi. It is an Ugandan owned lodge that cares about its environmental impact and the community around the lake. We will definitely come back, we had an amazing time here and were able to enjoy a much needed break from the busy and loud life in Kampala.

Absolutely everything! It is just like the photos however those can’t capture the stunning views from the island, the friendly staff or wonderful sense of peace! I stayed in a treehouse, very cosy, comfy bed, mosquito net, hot shower & lovely view from the balcony. The birds in the morning were something else! The lovely restaurant area was a great place to sit and read a book as was the « Sundowner Deck » with sun beds, a great place to swim from or have a drink as the sun sets. The food was plentiful and good. This place is absolutely magic! Just don’t come expecting western mod-cons eg: you’ll need to charge devices while the generator is on between 6-10pm, there are some insects and if you shower too long you’ll run out if hot water - this is an island in remote Uganda! Oh and be warned, there is a steep path and sone steps to most of the accommodation..

This place is truly a hidden gem! I stayed 3 days 2 nights, wish I can stay longer. What makes this place so special are the staff. From the manager (pick up me at the town and send to the resort by boat), the boatman, local guide, chef, helper and all in the resort. This resort strategic location is perfect who love quiteness and really into the nature. Trust me once you are here you dont feel like to leave. My husband and I loved the peace and quiet away, the sound of birds in the morning and the hospitable staff. *Allan* was of great help in all ways possible. He is flexible, friendly and good at his job. Him and Joab guided us so well through the high rope course activities, he took us canoeing which we also enjoyed. He took us around the village through the locals, shops and everything else we needed. Our stay was remarkable ♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️

Walter is a very concerned person and since we informed him about our arrival time, he was attentive, unfortunately the bus company we chose to travel from Kampala to Kabale was not the best and we were left stranded in the middle of the road and he took care to offer us a solution, even when it was late and it was not his responsibility, details like this are what make the difference between a place that only seeks to make money and one that really cares about their guests. Regarding the studio, it was well located, had everything we needed, as well as good insulation against external noise and good curtains that kept the room dark, guaranteeing a good rest. We will definitely come back!
