It was an amazing experience something you have to try… stay at the camp is totally safe, and make a favour to ur self go for the dinner at the dessert.. everyone was friendly even if they couldn’t speak in english. Totally worth it

We really enjoyed our stay at the Maison de Sable. The location is excellent for any excursion into the desert and we could even enjoy a breathtaking view of the dunes from our window. The room was clean and comfortable, with plenty of local style. Mohamed - the host - is a wonderful person! He helped us arrange a one-day trip to the desert. Very nice and kind hosts. The hotel is very new, it opened last year. Everything is very clean, rooms have AC. The place consists of a big garden full of nice plants and fruits with little guest houses. The best part was that they accommodated to our vegan diet, the food was so good. In Tunisia, finding vegetarian/vegan food is an almost impossible task. At this place, they understood what vegan means and cooked us some great food.

Wow!!! Defintive recommendation if you stay at Douz! I wish I could give you more than 10 points!! Small bungalow with comfortable bed, bathroom. Beautiful garden. On foot you can reach the beginning of the desert within minutes. The bungalows are located within the palmtree area. The dinner I booked additionally was really tasteful, it was shown how to traditionally bake bread in the desert sand. Unique experience!!!

The owners of the structure are kind and helpful. In addition to the stay, I recommend the experiences they propose. The typical dinner is an incredible experience and the walk in the desert with the camels guided by Abdallah was magical. The structure is suggestive and well cared for. It was a real pleasure.
