- From US$30.52 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 9.3Superb - What previous guests thought, 2,526 reviewsFirstly, this is not your typical hotel tower block. Thai Thai Sukhothai (TTS) is a collection of charming villas, like a village designed by someone who really understands Pinterest and Instagram reels. The young girls at the reception are fluent in English, as well as being helpful and charming. They quickly befriend guests and are consistently kind and supportive. They will assist you in renting a bicycle, organizing a trip to Si Satchanalai, and potentially resolve your existential crisis, if you have one. TTS offers bicycle rentals for just 50 baht a day. No, not motorbikes. Real bicycles. Oh, and did I mention the outdoor swimming pool? Its peaceful tranquility will help you forget your jet lag, and doze off beside the pool. The rooms and corridors are curated like boutique museums—every lamp, every chair, and every flower arrangement feels impeccably arranged. My favorite souvenir was the map! Upon check-in, they hand you a detailed map of the Sukhothai Historical Park—complete with transport tips and tiny illustrations.Guest review byAyanIndia
- From US$122.72 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 8.7Fabulous - What previous guests thought, 1,054 reviewsLike the ambience of the hotel, very traditionally Thai style. Staffs were helpful during and before my stay, helped me by facilitating transportation and sharing advices, these are especially valuable given being a solo traveller. The meals at hotel were delicious, traditional Thai show is presented at night in the restaurant. The hotel sits very closely to the Sukhothai Historical Park, there is bike rental service available opposite the hotel, besides, an elephant stupa just sits behind the hotel.Guest review byJUNSHIChina
- From US$39.77 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 8.9Fabulous - What previous guests thought, 362 reviewsRoom very clean and well appointed. Large size and good facilities - shower tea making etc. All rooms have a balcony/ sitting area overlooking garden and pool. pool clean, not too much chlorine and a good size to swim. Nice gardens . C lose to good restaurants and an easy walk to Historical park ( around 15 minutes). Hotel rents good enough bikes for 50 baht for 24 hours. Breakfast was good enough for a few days as only small changes daily but reasonable mix of Thai and western options.Guest review byAlanThailand
- From US$38.66 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 8.6Fabulous - What previous guests thought, 71 reviewsExcellent service, location and staff. We were welcomed extremely kindly and helpful. Very nice room, large and very clean. Location super central and convenient to all points of interest. But the highest score is certainly due to the helpfulness and competence of the staff (especially the receptionist!) who helped us a lot, even translating and writing for us a note containing all the allergies - note that is still "saving our lives" in other cities in Thailand (thank you!).Guest review byCristinaItaly
- From US$21.27 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 9.1Superb - What previous guests thought, 299 reviewsWe stayed in the guesthouse, the resort is just around the corner, the standard of the resort is also noticeable in the guesthouse, everything is super neat, tidy and clean, the staff very helpful and English-speaking, if you found no one English-speaking in the guesthouse, you could easily turn to the staff of the resort! You can rent bikes from the resort and there is a very decent laundry service (drop off before 10am, back the same day at 5pm!).Guest review byHerbertGermany
- From US$44.18 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 8.7Fabulous - What previous guests thought, 753 reviewsThe place is great, in a walking distance of everything. On top of that, free bicycles are available which is key to visit the historical park or even the surroundings. The staff does everything to help and to please you. The hotel is 5 minutes walk to take the bus to Bangkok!Guest review byPhilippeFrance

Sukothai's National Park with the ruins of the temples were probably THE BEST I've ever seen. Breathtakingly beautiful and amazing. Don't miss the separate temple ruins at Wat Sri Chum. Ethereal!Guest review byAnonymousUnited States - 8.0

Sukhothai is an off-the-beaten-path, worthwhile historical area of Thailand—less touristy than other sites, but also more economically challenged. We enjoyed our two-night stay, which felt like just the right amount of time for us.Guest review byTimThailand - 10.0
Sukhothai was my second stop having left Ayutthaya.
Sukhothai was my second stop having left Ayutthaya. I chose Sukhothai to get the option of exploring its cultural and historical sites. There is so much to see. however, it was hot, very hot and I wasn't able to see everything I wanted. So I guess I'll just have to stop by this wonderfully chilled town again in the future. This is not a party town, this is not what I was looking for, what I found though gave me every reason to want to go back and see more. Highly recommend Poo restaurant which was close to my accommodation. Enjoy your stay, but do be careful of the heat should you take one of the many tours available.Guest review byAlanIreland
