We were allways greeted with a smile ❤️ We visited the pool bar a few times, and especially the bartender Puhm (not sure i spell it right) and his 2 female colleagues, did a good work! I wanted to try a rare version of a fruit, (sprouded coconut) and wasent able to get it anywhere, but Puhm went over and beyond and had it shipped from Puket, so that i was able to try it, before going back home from our honeymoon. It was but a fruit, but i was in tears over the sweet gesture! Every personal did a wonderful job! The pool-bartenders just surprised me even more with that little gesture! We can really recommend this hotel for anyone who wanna visit Ao Nang! Hvis hotel is central, the personal is wonderful, the location is extremely good (we changed our honeymoon trip, and stayed here longer, instead of going to Koh Samui) ❤️ its that good. You can book great excursions for great price at a place. Staff helpt me reserve a last minute great boat trip (with breakfastto go), and visit to an elephant shelter. Thanks for that:) Pool is a great experience too; surrounded with a forest and great view. They have great massages to offer, recommend;) Adrenaline Park is also at the property, didn't had time to explore it. Resort offers shuttle to the bungalow so you don't have to bother with luggage whitch is convenient couse is on a hill and transport to the city center, tuck tuck is 100 Baht, better price than on a street. 7eleven is across the street, bigger store 50 m away. If you want the beach and trips from the beach to the islands do not recommend you go this time of the year. As three single travellers there were very few bars, lots of restaurants that sold alcohol but no bars you could sit at and have a chat only found four and three of those were a good 30min walk from the centre. Ao Nang seems to have changed a lot over the years and has lost a lot of it's character as it is now catering more for families, which is not a all bad if that is what you are looking for but comparing it with Hua Hin, or Koh Samui, it just doesn't.Guest review byDennisAustralia - 8.0

It is useful to note that there are multiple long boats and piers to access Railay. The safest route is to the east beach from Ao Nammao pier where you can safely park a hire car for a reasonable cost. If you don’t have your own transport, there are various options such as taxis.
