Great location on a hill with amazing views. The lodge is still close to restaurants, bars, and shops. You can tell that the owner paid attention to every little detail, providing books, a yoga mat, music box, plates and cutlery, etc. Another big plus is that they organize your pick-up and drop-off at the pier, which makes traveling here super easy. We had an amazing time here, extended our stay for two more days and still were not ready to leave this place after a week. We really hope to come back one day!

The rooms were nice with a small balcony. The shower is quite basic but functional. We arrived early after a night bus and were very tired, and they offered us an ealy check in with no extra charge, which was a blessing.

This family runned hotel was my favorite spot on our whole trip. All of the staff and owners are very kind and welcoming, the atmosphere feels like you’re in the middle of a very well-maintained jungle, and the location couldn’t be better. Our room was perfect. We spent a lot of time on our private balcony that overlooked the garden of rubber trees.

    I stayed with my girlfriend and just had a wonderful time. I book a wooden chalet villa. The villa’s are nice. All villa are facing the amazing sea and Nang Yuan Island. The views from our villa was breathtaking and the swimming awesome and very safe. It was so romantic when you stay at night. Beds are comfy. I would absolutely recommend this place to anyone who wants to feel that they are in true paradise, and who has some sense of adventure. I loved it, super relaxed, food was good. The resort staff is just so lovely and helpful. The owners where there during our stay, lovely people. Great Stay !

    Lovely hotel, very friendly staff. Specifically Tan on reception, extremely helpful and great customer service. We arrived late due to the ferry being delayed and the staff waited for us and welcomed us with a drink and flannel. Personally I think this hotel deserves more than 2 stars! We stayed in the Superior King Room, the bed was extremely comfy and the room offered everything we needed. Lovely seats outside too with a view of the pool. Very bright and in a great location. The restaurant at the bottom of the hotel path was also extremely good, would highly recommend this.

    We stayed in the villa hilside. It was amazing. Beautiful room and view, quiet and magical. The breakfest was the best we had so far in Thailand. The staff were very friendly and kind. The pools are really nice. Hope the diving center will come back cause they have the most amazing diving pool. Highly recommend!

    Fantastic location.

    Fantastic location. I wish they could do little more on the breakfast . The room is ok. I don't like when you have to take shoe off when you go in the lounge or the restaurant. The lounge need to updated. Staff resting on rhe sofa too which is weird.

    Koh Tao is still one of the few raw escapes in Thailand in my opinion, its divers and back packers heaven. However as a father with 2 kids in my forties i absolutely loved it. If you step away from the busy areas and off the beaten track you can find amazing coves and hiden gems still. The tourism all over the world has killed so much of our wildlife and reefs. The locals are definitely trying to do all they can to save it. Brilliant food, amazing views and a fun island.

    We loved Koh Tao.

    We loved Koh Tao. Sairee beach is a great area but you can stay anywhere and still have access as it's such a small island. We took a boat trip out to the island for snorkelling which was fab. Don't book in advance. Go onto the beach and haggle with the locals to take you over as it works out so much cheaper especially if you are a family. Highly recommend breakfast at Mango Garden...go hungry!! All In all a beautiful island and great for families as not too crazy busy!
