This is probably the best Value For Money resort I’ve stayed in. It isn’t fancy and all, but still a very big room, clean, with a pool table outside. They clean your room every day, give you 2 bottles of water and are the crew are very nice and welcoming. You can also rent bikes in the place, but it isn’t the cheapest. All in all a great experience, would definitely recommend!

I had a wonderful stay at the Mar Ozo Hotel. The girls at reception were so nice, kind, and extremely helpful, which made check-in a very pleasant experience. The rooms were spotless and well-maintained, with a really nice bathroom and very comfortable beds. The air conditioning worked perfectly, and there was always hot water available. I also appreciated the little details like water in the fridge and being well taken care of while waiting for the room to be ready. Overall, an excellent stay – highly recommended!

We had the most amazing time at Shiva Lodge! Everyone was so kind and welcoming and we felt very much at home. Will definitely come back and we really loved all the little details (Books on the nightstands, Snack bar and free coffee) and honestly the lodges are an architectural masterpiece! ☺️ Thanks for everything

We managed to get the last room before it booked out and I’m not surprised. The location is stunning with the bar and tables backing out onto the beach, wholesome details like the hammock and book exchange make this boardwalk hotel feel like home. But the staff were the best thing about the experience. From the minute we arrived going the extra mile to make sure we were comfortable after our long transfer, swiftly sorting our rooms and offering us advice on what to do and where best to get things. Entered and customers and left as friends. Couldn’t recommend this place more if you want a chilled place to stay in Ko Tao!

    The hotel staff is excellent and helped us with everything we asked for. The rooms are beautiful, clean and huge with a beautiful balcony facing the sea. The only drawback in my opinion of the hotel is that for those who cannot access it with a motorcycle, it is difficult to get around and get out of it, and that there are a lot of stairs and ups and downs to get to the rooms, so anyone who comes should take that into account.

    The breakfast was very good, pretty variative, and all fresh and tasty. Bungalow was spacious, and the bed was very comfy. Especially I appreciated 2 types of pillows) And the staff was amazing!     All good! After reading the negative reviews I was a little worried but everything was ok. Localisation was good. Calm and quiet beach with a walking distance to the hustle and bustle of koh tao. Water front bungalow with private pool was worth the price. Yes it is a little bit old but if it was brand new the price would be twice as much. Pool was ok as well. Friendly staff.

    Great place! Located in very quiet part of the island, villa is amazing, very comfortable and spacious with AMAZING view. Cape shark villas offer transport to the center and to the pier but also have number of options for restaurant and massage which you can order to the villa. Staff was very nice and helpful.

    Fantastic location.

    Fantastic location. I wish they could do little more on the breakfast . The room is ok. I don't like when you have to take shoe off when you go in the lounge or the restaurant. The lounge need to updated. Staff resting on rhe sofa too which is weird.

    Koh Tao is still one of the few raw escapes in Thailand in...

    Koh Tao is still one of the few raw escapes in Thailand in my opinion, its divers and back packers heaven. However as a father with 2 kids in my forties i absolutely loved it. If you step away from the busy areas and off the beaten track you can find amazing coves and hiden gems still. The tourism all over the world has killed so much of our wildlife and reefs. The locals are definitely trying to do all they can to save it. Brilliant food, amazing views and a fun island.
