Actually everything. It’s a cozy and well furnished Stuga. Everything looks brand new and very well designed. The bed is very comfortable. Everything what you need is available. What we loved about the structure was the location of this magic chalet in the middle of the woods. It gave us a truly immersive and magical experience in open nature. Furthermore, the newly refurbished furniture and structure of the house made our stay comfortable and cozy. Lastly, we loved meeting the two owners who were amazing and very welcoming with us. They truly enjoy hosting guests and only wish them the best stay ever.

    The owner was super friendly, warm & welcoming. Great value for money. The views over te frozen river (with crossing wildlife) from the room. Magical sunset. The sauna with its incredible views (all though we didn’t have time to try it, looked amazing) great homey, cozy feeling “hygge”. Great location & close enough to the ski slopes. Charming property with even more charm in summer when you can swim in the lake, use the hottub & bonfires.

    Everything was excellent. The room was very clean, well equipped (kettle, pots, pans, coffee machine, towels, cleaning supplies, shoe warmer etc.), and comfortable. Location is also fantastic, close to both Sälen and Kläppen, as well as many cross-country tracks. Breakfast was very good, and the host very accommodating. We will absolutely return here when in the area. Thank you, Thomas!

    I stopped over for one night on my motorcycle trip and would have loved to stay a bit longer. The apartment was super cosy and there was everything I needed for a comfortable stay. The hosts were very friendly and attentive!

    Excellent ski resort within reasonably close proximity to Stockholm. Great for families and young people alike. Big variety of slopes with a few ski fields close by which you can get a bus to, included in your ski pass.

    Nice cozy place. Very picturesque. Great Lake, roads are also good - easy to reach by car. Not much people, which makes it ideal place to stay just with the nature, listening to the forest wind and watch the starts. Overall, very good experience!

    Even though we only stayed one night, it was one night too...

    Even though we only stayed one night, it was one night too many. After having booked a night, we were told that if we brought our dog into the hotel, we would have to pay an extra 300 SEK for cleaning. At this point we would have liked to cancel the booking. This was not possible. We then announced that we would keep the dog in the car for the night, which we did and did not bring it into the hotel at any time. Then we get a mail via booking.com, in which the hotel wants us to pay the extra 300 SEK for cleaning, as they claim that we brought the dog inside anyway. We can under no circumstances recommend this place. It is completely untrustworthy.

    This is a beautiful ski area.

    This is a beautiful ski area. We stayed next to the piste, so we did not use our car. The pistes are nice and there is something for everyone. The main pistes have lighting so you can ski later in the afternoon or when it's open in the evening. The layout was beautiful. Loved it!

    Great weekend destination for a long weekend of snowboarding...

    Great weekend destination for a long weekend of snowboarding. Not like the alps, different. But we loved the wide blue and red slopes - great place for carving - and around 4.30pm the lights turn on and the lifts stay open until 6pm. Plenty of outlets to book Snowscooter tours or Dogsledge tours. Truly amazing scenery when there is snow!
