Everything has been truly exceptional! The location is absolutely stunning, from having a view of the lake, to being able to see the stars at night perfectly. There is nothing but little huts around, perfect for a relaxing vacation. And just 15 min drive away is lake Zaovine where we went swimming and which was very clean. The owners of the accommodation also own a restaurant just 2-3 min walk from the hut and both the food and service are fantastic. The accommodation itself was impeccably clean and beautiful decorated and furnished. It’s simply clear lots of care and thought went into making this a great experience for the guests. And finally the owners and hosts, two sisters, have been so welcoming, helpful, and kind! I cannot recommend this place more, we will for sure be coming back!

Sve je cista 10-ka. Da mogu da dam 11, dao bih. Domacini su izlazili u susret maksimalno. Lokacija je odlicna, nekih kilometar od glavnog puta sto znaci da nema buke. Apartman je jako cist i lak je prilaz do njega (asfaltirano). Sve u svemu, vredi svaki dinar. Mi dolazimo ponovo bez razmisljanja!

    If I could, I'd give it a 20 out of 10. It was perfect experience. The house located close to the road, but very quiet. It's the best place if you are going to Tara or Mokra Gora. The apartment has everything you need for a comfortable stay. The room has antique furniture. It's excellent for photos. You can parking car safety and near the apartment. Owner was very hospitable and friendly.

    The location is on the main train station of famos Shargan Eight train track. The location outside is like from a Tim Burton movie. I didnt want to spend the night inside because outside was dreamlike. Tje host organized tickets for Shargan Eight panoramic train ride. Thank you.

    A good quiet place for relaxing and hiking. The travel on the Osmica railway was excellent. If you travel on public transport, check the schedule on the internet. There is no information near the bus stop, and the bus Vishegrad-Belgrade can have a big delay due to border crossing procedures.

    The nature around is amasing.

    The nature around is amasing. You can get there only bu car and driving narrow mountain roads can be a little bit stressful. But overall the national parks are an amazing place to spend a weekend or even a week. There isn't a lot of places to eat or buy food, so you need to plan ahead. But a lot of accommodation options have kitchecns or grills.

    The lake in tara nature preserve , the lake is very nice to swim and to take lake house and u can go to tara mountains 20 mins by car or to another lake zaovine by 40 mins , some fine restaurants around, and people in that part of country super friendly and welcoming

    Last time I was at Tara, I was staying at Mitrovac na Tari...

    Last time I was at Tara, I was staying at Mitrovac na Tari and I can say I much prefer Kaludjerske Bare. There is more to see, more to walk arround, there are lovely hiking and walking trails called Trim staza and Staza ljubavi near hotel Omorika. You can also drink good coffee in the garden of hotel Javor and eat cheap meals right next to that, in express restaurant. Unfortunately, for more you will have to travel by car since public transport on Tara is almost non-existing. But if you are by car, a must-see are ofc Perućac and Zaovine lake, Banjska stena viewpoint, Ladjevac spring, Osluša viewpoint (and drinking coffee at the coffeeshop there with a view), Bilješka stena, waterfall Vrelo, Kruščica, Spajića lake and in the end when heading to Bajina bašta, I reccomend visiting Drina river house and eating in the restaurant Studenac with a view on Drina.

    Mitrovac is a small place , we can say heart of the Tara mountain. It good location for start point for hiking trails to one of the best view point in Serbia - Banjska Stena ( 9 and 9a Trail). Also you can choose trail to Zboriste one of the top point of The Tara. Also is close to the Oslusa and Sokolina where you can find nice view points. Lake Zaovine is also near Mitrovac just ahead from the Mitorvac. Nic place also for mountain biking. For family Mitrovac gives quiet place and nice field for kids game, few education trails.

    Kremna as a village has not much to offer, but Tara National Park and its surroundings are exquisite. If you want to explore Visegrad, the national park, the different viewpoints, lakes and rivers, Kremna is a good place to stay. There are 3 small, but effective grocery stores on the "main" street, there are 2-3 restaurants, and you have some cocks waking you up in the morning. If you crave for a good Slavic village vibe, you can have it in Kremna!

    Sekulići is located at 1300 m above sea level.

    Sekulići is located at 1300 m above sea level. Surrounded by forest and beautiful nature, it is an ideal place for walking or cycling. Just a few kilometers away is Zaovisnko jezero, Mitrovac, Bajna bašta and Drvengrad of world-famous movie director Emir Kusturica.

    Very nice place for short stay (3-4) days. Mećavnik is must go visit place, and a ride on Shargan’s 8 (trip with old train on narrow gauge railway) with breathtaking views is something you should not skip.

    The town is charming with small houses and trees. There is an atmosphere of easy living in the various cafes located in the central park and along the main street. Only a short way from the town, sceneries in the river Drina valley and Tara mountains are magnificent. A specialty is so called lake houses, many of them available for lodging.
