I like that the hotel is connected to the mall. The room is clean and staff are accommodating and friendly. We had an incident during our stay where we needed paramedics. Staff were so alert and helped us right away. They called 911 and ambulance came to the rescue. Staff assured that we are taken care of.

    Front desk officers are very accomodating, polite, and considerate. The same qualities are true to all other hotel staff and security guards. Its restaurant is cozy and the staff are also very nice. Location is also good especially if one is traveling between Iloilo and Bacolod because the hotel is just about less than 5min to the port. I can say that I will definitely recommend in full confidence the Harbor Town Hotel to any traveller wishing a hassle free , safe, and enjoyable hotel stay.

    Very friendly staff, always ready to help! I felt like the most welcome guest here. This hotel has a beautiful territory, a nice pool, tasty and inexpensive food in the restaurant. We came with a large group of 11 people and had a great time. We went for a massage. The massage is very professional, we all liked it! We took a tour of the islands and it was great!

    We loved our city tour esp. to the Garin Farm, Balay na Bato where we had a taste of hot choco and molo soup, visited various churches and tried the Roberto's siopao (so big that one is good for 2 persons), the famous Ilongo batchoy. We also explored Guimaras and our tour to Gigantes Islands is unforgettable esp. with the unli scallops served for lunch at the Lantangan beach.

    Carles is disappointing, specifically the Bancal/Wharf surrounding areas. The place is dirty, no place to eat if you are staying overnight and the heavy trucks traffic due to wharf construction is terrible. I can perfectly understand why visitors to Isla de Gigantes arrive there early in the morning, do the island hoping tours and get out of there as soon as they can at the end of the day. On the positive side, the Tourism information and ticket facilities and wharf are decent. The island are beautiful and worth putting up with everything else to see them.

    Carles is a beautiful location in the Philippines. I've stayed at multiple locations; Salina, Beach Head, Chateau De Aow which all meet or exceeded expectations. I would recommend all three of these properties based on my personal experience and the information provided on Booking.com.

    We traveled in january because we want to experience the annual religious festival (dinagayang, Nuestra Señora de la Candelaria ) and Chines New Year.. These events are very colorful and vibrant , fun and solemn to those Catholic devotees..

    Carles is a small provincial town, this establishment is probably one of the biggest employers,, compared with the poor general environment of the area the establishment sticks out as a luxury point known to everybvody in town. Smoking is tolerated on the balconies and one feels well in the place. One disadvantage: is that you cannot take your car to the bungalows to park it there,, but you have to park it at a central park place near the entry to the resort and this resort is big! However, there are plenty of service vehicles moving around before one of them will pick you up to take you where you want to goin the resort. Visiting the shops in Carles is no problem if you have a car, but there is plenty of trikes and taxis everywhere!
