Virly and Javier were very accommodating hosts. We felt very welcome and they took the time to chat with us and explain the local culture and island life. We booked their hotel (gorgeous bamboo finishings throughout) while we were on the ferry and it was one of the best locations we stayed at during our 2-week trip in the Philippines. The only thing I'd indicate for improvement is that it was a little tricky to find - perhaps a signage before the dirt road to the resort would help travellers find their way to this little slice of paradise. Good luck to you both!

Another beautiful place to stay - a paradise per se. Everything about Ocean Vida is perfect, included breakfast was really good, the service is impeccable and when you are doing an early dive which is very common, they have this service that allows you to order your meal prior to the day of diving so you can just collect it early morning the next day, how good is that! We'll definitely be back here next time.

I recently stayed at this wonderful resort located directly on the beach on Bantayan Island in the Philippines and I was thoroughly impressed with my experience. The private beach was an added bonus and made the experience even more memorable. The infrastructure and service were top-notch and comparable to the highest western standards. It was also perfect for kite surfing. The staff was extremely friendly and attentive, and the management was well-organized and accommodating. The food was fantastic and offered a range of options, including local cuisine, selected Italian meals, and even a sushi chef. I would highly recommend this resort to anyone looking for a luxurious and unforgettable beach vacation. My experience was 10/10 and I can't wait to go back!

    The location is good. It is inside the town, close to pier 1, the place from where one can get ocean jet ferry to Bohol. Few attractions are at walking distance from this place. Initially our room was a smaller one but due to some maintenance issue we were upgraded to a suite like room, which was quite big, clean and good kitchenette. In both the rooms ACs worked well. View was also good from both the rooms. Thanks to Teresa for upgrading us to a suite without charging any additional fees immediately after bringing a maintenance issue in our booked room.

    The territory is amazing! I haven’t seen anything like this before! The saltwater lagoon that is open 24 hours is a great option! The staff is always there for you, so nice and friendly ! And the breakfast really surprised us) every day there are different kitchens of the world (Mexican, Chinese, Italian etc). You can always find fresh fruits and juices and homemade bakery) we faced some challenges with the bank card during check in, but the staff handled the situation great and even upgraded the room category due to the inconvenience.     Cebu has its beautiful and calm areas which is awesome, however due to our location it was always an hour or so to get to these places, so my advice to future travellers is to choose a hotel outside the city centre, maybe more South West or South East where the beautiful beaches and waterfalls are situated.... A must have is Grab to get around, its safe and very affordable, however any beaches are far out of the city!

    I had lived in Moalboal before.

    I had lived in Moalboal before. I was just back visiting a girlfriend. The Panagsama area, where the resort is located is great. Literally walked the entire area. Lots of different restaurants/bars. Plenty of different operators for activities, mostly sea related. It is a great area. I plan to move back next year.

    Woaw....a very busy place. It was super nice to do this. A new check mark on my list. Tons of people, go early, as in early. We left the hotel at 6 and arrived at around 7 already tons of people. We got boat # 189 and there are 200 boats (walk ins) and there are like 100 numbers for online booking. 10 people per boat so image approx. 3000 on that day and they told us it was not so busy. Tourists pay $20.00 and locals$10.00. We rent a GoPro and the video files were not normal MP4 file, so it was a pain to find a way to convert them. All-in-all very fun event.

    Beatiful, green island. Paradise for seafood fans. Fresh, delicious and decent price, sometimes even cheap. If you more into nature than towns and pubs do not miss: Mangrove Park, Nature Park, Lalio's cave, Colina Isla de Bantayan:) Santa Fe - more for food and drinks at night :)

    More of a 'local character' than when I stayed in the IT Park area. I really did not enjoy IT Park because it was just a big mall area with businesses and restaurants and a lot of congestion and noise. The Pusok area was much quieter. More locals which I enjoy interacting with. Easier to get around. There is a mall area but it is not as big or nice as other malls in Cebu City. But I was able to find everything I needed. Some shops close a bit early though. When I return to Cebu City I will probably stay in this area again. I like how close it is to the airport because the ridiculous traffic in Cebu City concerns me when I need to get to the airport. I think the cost of lodging is more affordable in this area. I was always able to get a Grab taxi when I needed it.

    The island being small is a bit crowded on the side near the pier and the bounty beach. I haven't explored the northern part of the island so this will make me go back and visit the island again in the future. Good to visit for divers as this is the jumppoint to Kimud shoal where the Thresher sharks frequent to visit.

The room was generally clean and functional and I was please to have a larger than usual fridge associated with hotel room and Air BnM. 4. The property was located just across SM City Mall and it was exceptionally convenient for anyone to get food and supplies. 5. Very convenient to catch a Taxi and if you are adventurous, just hop on a Jeepney.
