SwitzerlandWe spent our honeymoon at The Westin Bora Bora and had a truly wonderful stay. The resort is brand new, beautifully designed, and the rooms are perfectly decorated in a relaxed boho style with great attention to detail.
The grounds are spacious and easy to explore on foot or by bike, and we appreciated the privacy throughout our visit. The service was consistently excellent, and we would like to thank the following team members for their friendliness and professionalism:
Teamo, John, Alan, Reyhou, Vi, Erica, and Kihou.
We were also pleasantly surprised to receive a complimentary late checkout until 5:30 pm — a gesture we greatly appreciated.
Overall, a clear recommendation for anyone looking for a relaxing and memorable stay

And just helped with everything we needed. Same counts for Marianne who is helping out. I assume Villa Yrondi is also the best the deal you get in Bora Bora. The place is designed in the most beautiful way, with little details at every corner, with paintings, old vases and statues. The amount of relaxation you receive in this place is incredible. The host is very friendly and helpful, contributing to the best experience in terms of hospitality. You basically have your own private island and your own private beach with all the comfort of a high end hotel. While some people might be a little concerned with mosquitos, please note that a reasonable quality repeller will solve this for you. We tried the very best in Bora Bora, including the high end resorts with water bungalows. I can say that without our experience at Fare Ahuna, our trip to Bora Bora would have been so much less complete. We will never forget our stay here. From the moment we were welcomed at the jetty and driven to the hotel in a beautifully quirky Land Rover, to the moment we said our goodbyes to Nir at the end of our stay, this was a fabulous experience. We loved the attention to detail: the colonial-chic-meets-Polynesian-style that makes this place truly unforgettable. As vegetarians, having our own cooking facilities meant we didn’t need to stray far from our room of an evening (Bora Bora doesn’t cater too well for veggies), and we were able to rustle up tasty meals in our wonderfully comfortable bungalow. Nir is the most attentive and welcoming of hosts and we hope to return one day. They have two bungalows on their property, each of them has its own atmosphere. We stayed in the bungalow that is directly connected to the terrace, which is over the water. So you can see the sea directly from the bed. We spent 6 nights on site, almost every day we used the bikes that the owners rent for free (as well as the kayak and paddelboard). Snorkeling by the corals is possible about 30 meters from the bungalow, just a dream. And sometimes we even saw a small stingray from the terrace. Bora Bora is a slice of paradise. We rented a scooter for a day and saw the whole island. What was best was Rudolph at H2O was an amazing tour guide. Well worth the money. Our favourite place was on the lagoon. We hired a pontoon boat and spent a day on the water, one of the best experiences was snorkelling, swimming and relaxing. It was great. Lots of different fish, coral gardens and many sea life. Water was crystal clear and vibrantly blues and greens. Views were endless. Swam at Matira Beach. Wish I could go back there.
