GermanyWe spent 2 nights at Hospedaje Mario in Taquile and it was an incredible and heart-warming experience! Mario and his wife Julia showed us around the island and taught us about the traditions, crafts and way of life of the people of Taquile. They were so welcoming, kind and helpful, and Julia cooked an amazingly delicious meal for us in the evenings!
The room was simple but clean, with enough blankets to keep us warm on the cold nights.
An unforgettable experience! We really enjoyed our stay at this homestay in Taquile and had the honour of experiencing life on this quiet and amazing island!

FranceThe family is so nice ! It was a really immersion in the community and the family! We learned so much about the Taquile island, the community, the daily life. Food is great ! No tourists after 3pm so you have the island for you and have a little hike to discover the rest of the island.

NetherlandsI loved spending 2 days on the island. It is so peaceful and quiet. Great stay at Ana Julia's house, dinner was good, breakfast was simpel but nice. Ana Julia is a lovely host. First night walked up to Mulsina for a beautiful sunset and the second day I walked all the way to the other part of the island to spend the morning at the beach. Definitly reccommend spending a night on isla Taquile and Ana Julia's homestay.
