- From $561 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 9.1Wonderful - What previous guests thought, 66 reviewsWe had a very relaxing stay- we had planned for one night, but extended it to two nights as we enjoyed the property so much The rooms/cabins are very large/ Nice bathrooms and beds with patios We ate all of our meals there and enjoyed all of them (I am vegetarian and liked all of my options/ my husband who is not vegetarian also equally enjoyed the meals) They have a few activities each day, we enjoyed a short hike and learned about the local community, plants and birds In the afternoon, they have a nice tea time with small snacks- For planning- it takes 1.5 hours from the airport/ plan a ride in advance- it is about $50 for a couple from Cusco The local area has a few popular tourist places to visit though we did not take advantage of these as we just enjoyed staying there The Sacred Valley was an adjustment in altitude for us (we are from Nebraska) and it was nice to acclimate there, before staying in Cusco and ultimately hiking the Salkantay trail.Guest review byMaryUnited States
- From $225.86 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 9.3Wonderful - What previous guests thought, 267 reviewsThe front desk are one of the sweetest people we have met- 24/7 and always happy to help/assist. We were greeted by Eylin who was prompt to get us checked in, and help us understand the vicinity of hotel and Cusco in general. After a small wait, we got our room ready for check in and our 2 nights stay was very pleasant as the hotel is centrally located in the San Blas neighbourhood. The hotel staff happily took care of our luggage when we checked out for our Inca trail and returned after 4 days. The bathroom had hot shower and although a bit on the smaller size, we didn't have a problem. When coming from the Cusco main square, there is a small flight of stairs to reach the hotel which we read in the reviews but we didn't find that a problem at all especially if you are planning your stay before Machu Pichhu/Rainbow mountain. Overall one of the best stays in a great location for a price that justified it.Guest review bySaurabhUnited Kingdom

The staff members in the hotel is nice and I feel so welcomed while studying. Especially thanks Saul who taught me how to make Pisco, it was a great experience. Thanks Freddy and Jefferson who show me round the hotel and explain clearly about the history and amenity of the hotel. Jefferson also recommended me some places to visit and restaurants to dine in Cusco. All the staff are amazing, definitely best memories during me trip in Peru.Guest review byZhuUnited States

They surprised us with an upgrade to a suite which made us really happy. The staff was always smiling and helpful- thumbs up to Guido. The restaurant and breakfast were very tasty. It was like we were living in a museum, every corner was special. The location was also very central, 2 minutes walk from the main square of Cusco. A visit to Cusco centers on its vibrant, historic core.
A visit to Cusco centers on its vibrant, historic core. Expect the area to be bustling, but the rewards are countless, from exploring the preserved architecture to dining at exceptional restaurants that highlight Peru's acclaimed cuisine. A quick tip for navigating the city: the heavy traffic means diesel fumes can occasionally be strong. Finally, take advantage of the superb shopping opportunities for unique souvenirs. You might even want to buy an inexpensive bag locally to handle all your purchases on the flight back.Guest review byMark - 10.0
Loved it! definitely worth the visit.
Loved it! definitely worth the visit. We stayed two nights in Aguas Calientes. I wish I had stayed a door or two longer as the town is small but really lively and fun to be in. Also, we took a panoramic train from Cusco to Aguas Calientes and its definitely worth the experience. I will be journalling my experience, and provide tips in the near future on my blog so stay tuned: https://travelzbyu.blogspot.com/ For now, view pics and videos posted on my social media pages indicated on the link to my blog. - TravelsByUGuest review byUrvashiUnited States - 8.0

Ollantaytambo is a gem of a town, my favorite so far of the Sacred Valley towns I have stayed in. The historic part of town feels like it must have felt with the Incas were living there in precolonial days. The streets are kept immaculately clean. Everything you might need is within short walking distance but does not intrude on the authenticity of the town. The views of the Inca ruins on all sides take you back in time. I would gladly go back for a longer stay. The constant flow of large tourist vans down the main street can be a bit annoying as they don't seem to belong, but you can avoid this. One great thing about Kamma Guest House is that it is not in the main stream.Guest review byDavidUnited States - 8.0

Central location for exploring up and down the valley, with good bus connections. It's a real Peruvian town, not a touristy place, like many of the other towns around. I had a good meal in town. Everyone was friendly.Guest review byTimothyPortugal - 10.0

Pisac is a great place to acclimatize if you are coming into the highlands from Lima or Amazon basin. It is charming small town with lots of historical interest. Archeological Pisak is well worth spending some time on. If you are looking to acclimatize to higher altitudes, Pisak is a better starting point that Cusco because the altitude is about 1500 ft lower and it is closer to Sacred Valley attractions.Guest review byAnandUnited States - 10.0

City with great historical interest and gateway to Macchu Picchu. Very lively and busy place, easy to navigate for museums, restaurants with local Peruvian food, shops for good souvenirs or just people watching. Some parts are very hilly; cobble stoned pedestrianised areas were tough on the feet. Lots of peddlars selling local products but they do not pester you if you politely say no thanks.Guest review bySarbjeetUnited Kingdom - 10.0

If you can, see Machu Picchu early in the morn or in the late afternoon for best pics and fewest crowds. Take the bus up to Machu Picchu and then walk the stairs down to Aguas Calientes if you have 2 hours for the trek and strong knees/ankles to manage the stairs. Don't let travel agencies rush you from Cusco/Sacred Valley to Machu Picchu and back to Cusco in one day. Definitely spend the night in Aguas Calientes before or after your visit to Machu Picchu. The town has a lot of character and tremendous beauty. Lots of choices for dining, shopping and spas/massages. We wish we had stayed 2 days!Guest review byAndreaUnited States - 10.0

Urabamba is a wonderful local feeling town with a nice square where you can find very good restaurants. There is a Saturday vendor market around the square and a big fresh market every day only a few blocks from the ,main square. Easy to navigate. I ate at Forty, Big A and Migas. All amazing food.Guest review byChristinaUnited States - 8.0

The Pisac archeological park is very interesting and takes 2 - 4 hours to see. Take the taxi up to the site and consider walking down back to the townsite through the park to see additional ruins. Several good restaurants and coffee shops in Pisac. Easy to walk anywhere in town. Central plaza is a pleasant. Short drive from Cusco, could do as a day trip.Guest review byROYCanada
