- From US$83.49 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 8.8Fabulous - What previous guests thought, 905 reviewsOur stay at Palmar Beach was an absolute delight from start to finish. Nestled amidst nature, the cozy wooden bungalow provided a serene retreat away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. Upon arrival, we were welcomed by the warm and friendly staff, but what truly stood out was the heartfelt surprise awaiting us in our room. The crew had gone above and beyond by adorning our space with beautifully crafted balloon hearts, adding an extra touch of magic to our stay. It was an unexpected and heartwarming gesture for our honeymoon that immediately made us feel special and appreciated. The tranquility of the surroundings, coupled with the personalized touch from the thoughtful crew, made our stay truly memorable. Whether it was relaxing on the porch or taking leisurely walks in the nearby trails, every moment felt like a cherished escape.Guest review byFabianGermany
- Scored out of 10, guest rating 9.6Exceptional - What previous guests thought, 161 reviewsI had a wonderful stay at Carmen's place! She and Marcel are friendly outgoing hosts, and the guesthouse has an amazing location surrounded by the jungle facing the bay. Carmen took very good care of me as a solo traveller, suggesting destinations for day-trips and activities to me and catering to small personal needs as an extra-ration of sand fly-repellent or my daily early morning tea :-) Apart of excursions to Zapatillas and Red Frog Beach, I roamed around by kayak and SUP and Carmen also organised to go out as a group for dinner and to watch some live music, which was a lot of fun! Last but not least, she prepares great dinners with different dishes and provides a generous breakfast with local fruit, pancakes, bread, jam, and your choice of eggs. Would love to come back in the future !Guest review byAudreyGermany
- Scored out of 10, guest rating 9.5Exceptional - What previous guests thought, 31 reviewsWe had an amazing stay at Al Natural Resort! The open-air houses with sea views are unique and unforgettable. We saw wildlife right outside (sloth, rays, sharks, birds) and even bioluminescence at night. The staff are super friendly, Michel is a great host, and the food from Vincent’s team was excellent—even for picky eaters. Truly a paradise, we’d love to return!Guest review byKai SiersSwitzerland

Pool is 7ft deep, so really young kids need float. Check in was good, trolly to rooms and they delivered our bags. Restruant food was really amazing. Best view ever while eating.!!Guest review byDanaCanada

I truly loved the Island of Bastimentos of which I stayed.
I truly loved the Island of Bastimentos of which I stayed. I did long walks along the island and I also hiked right through the middle of the island to get to Wizard beach. It's a gem that's unspoiled and untouched by droves of tourist. I hope it stays that way. However, I have one big issue with this Island called Bastimentos that was heart breaking for me. There was entirely too much garbage strewn along the edges circulating the island. They need a major litter clean up campaign by this community. It was a turn off for such a beautiful Island with beautiful people. Entirely to much garbage like plastic bottles, cans, glass bottles, old cloths, bags, etcetera, etcetera, etcetera. I don't know if it's washed up by the sea from neighboring islands or thrown there by the community. It's highly visible and can ruin visitors coming here if they don't clean it up. I can only hope this matter of pollution is addressed. All the best Bastimentos.Guest review byEarlUnited States
