We spent 2 nights here. I recommend this choice - one night is not enough to feel the desert. The first evening was very windy and the dunes were "smoking" - an amazing impression. The next day was calm and clear - a beautiful sunset and moonrise. The "igloo" itself does the trick - remember to close the toilet/shower door and turn on the ventilation there. Meals were delivered (breakfast, a simple lunch and a large dinner) to each cottage - that was nice. In the evening, meetings for those interested in delicious tea and conversations. The owners and staff of the camp are open, very nice and helpful. I recommend this experience to anyone who would like to at least "touch" the desert, this experience will stay with me for a long time.

Alsaif camp features an outdoor swimming pool, garden, a shared lounge and bar in Bidiyah. The accommodation provides a 24-hour front desk, airport transfers, a shared kitchen and free WiFi.

1. Property location is an amazing +ve (since we were with a 2 year old, we did not want to venture into the desert and preferred staying at the edge of the desert) 2. Friendly manager Mr. Yasir takes every effort to help and engage guests in every possible way and also helped in arranging dune bashing at sunset for us, a small campfire etc)

The staff was extremely kind and welcoming. Food was very basic. We booked a pick-up from Al Reem desert camp, which Rasil made another highlight. The tents were clean und decorated with love. The outside bathroom allowed for star-gazing while getting ready for bed. All in all, a quite spectacular experience, we wouldn't want to miss!

Camping in the desert turned out to be an amazing experience! Everything was brand new and the hospitality was top-notch. The food was delicious, and the tents were surprisingly well-equipped and comfortable. It felt like a perfect blend of adventure and comfort. This place is so beautiful. The garden created such relaxing atmosphere. The playground was the highlight for our kids. The bed was comfortable and we got an additional mattress too. The staff was really helpful. There was quite a space in the back yard to hang our laundry. We drove to the nearby sand dune in the evening. The view was fantastic and there was enough sand for the kids.

Stars Gate Camp is a recently renovated luxury tent in Al Wāşil, where guests can makes the most of its outdoor swimming pool, garden and barbecue facilities.
