- From US$93.26 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 8.2Very good - What previous guests thought, 2,101 reviewsThe staff were very welcoming 🙏. The room was very clean, The location was perfect, close for activities and yet not noisy when it was bedtime. The beds were supercomfy, and the linen was crisp and clean. They have on-site parking and overall one of the best places we have stayed. In comparison to the motels in Sydney and Perth that we have stayed at, this is definitely the best so far, and the price was definitely great value for money. I already told everyone in my family and we will be booking our next stay there again when we go back to Nelson. Thanks to the team at THE BEACHCOMBER for an awesome hassle free stay. 😁Guest review byPokaiaAustralia
- Scored out of 10, guest rating 9.5Exceptional - What previous guests thought, 650 reviewsThe place was very clean, well-equipped, and clearly designed with care. The location is great and it’s nice and quiet at night. I booked at 7:30 pm for a 9 pm check-in and only later realized the office closed at 8, so I felt nervous and a bit sorry about the timing. Luckily I got a quick and helpful response which made everything easy. At checkout I met a lovely and friendly staff member who even recognized my room right away. It all made me feel really welcome. Highly recommended!Guest review byliuChina
- From US$58.28 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 8.0Very good - What previous guests thought, 764 reviewsThe hosts were very friendly and mixed with all walks of life very easily. The food in the restaurant was beyond our expectations- better than many city restaurants. The room was very comfortable, clean and warm. You can walk to the river from the property and watch all the whitebaiters or talk to the cows. Highly recommended and can’t wait to go back.Guest review byLisaNew Zealand

Fantastic view of sunrise, a stone throw away from the beach, next to where the ferry ride to Abel Tasman and next to Waterfront restaurant which by the way had excellent service and food! Close to most restaurants but on a quiet street so no issues with noise. Sofa bed was comfy, and we slept comfortably with 5 people in the room. Everything is really well set out in the rooms and the park. Staff were helpful and the rooms had everything we needed. All in all pretty great!Guest review bySashaAustralia

Good thing there is a toilet attached with the bedroom upstairs. What I loved most is the sunset view of the lake from the apartment. Is so picturique and romantic. Nelson has a lot of speciality stores and a lot of food options. The Markets in the weekends are not for those looking for a bargain but do support local and NZ made and although some were costly, there was a lot of selection of goodies. Stoke the Bach Restaurant was staffed with lovely young girls, and the food was excellent and value for money The Arden Monaco where we stayed has limited room facilities and is not staffed outside of working hours, but the beds are comfortable and with very dark woodwork old paintings and very heavy doors, the facility was well equipped with heat pumps and hot water.Guest review byKimNew Zealand - 10.0

I have added some images of McNabb's point, just a stones throw further down the road from our accommodation at Eden's Edge. Motueka is beautiful with surprising vistas always around the corner. Packs big punch for a little town,Guest review bySusan - 10.0

You go to Kaiteriteri for the awesome views, beach and water. There is good walking/hiking paths nearby. It was not overly crowded at the beginning of March but the water was still swimmable. Very close to Abel Tasman which is great.Guest review byBonnieUnited States - 8.0

We arrived in Marahau in order to walk on the Abel Tasman track. It is a small township, and we enjoyed walking down to the bay for the sunset. We had chosen the Aqua taxi to transport us up to the start of our walk, and enjoyed the efficiency and novelty of that experience. Just a warning to other travellers, By mid May, the little township is settling in for the ‘off’ season, which means that there are fewer grocery and eating options. We had been forewarned and had collected groceries at Motueka.Guest review bySneddleAustralia - 8.0

Takaka is a fantastic location that gives good access to beaches all around the area, and the lovely Pupu Springs and Farwell Spit. The people in the town were lovely and friendly. We had the best vegetarian burgers, even better than our Ferg burgers from Queenstown! We all felt so safe and just enjoyed our time there. The drive over the Takaka Hill was a great experience, both in the misty rain and in beautiful sunshine.Guest review byTaemaro TravellerNew Zealand - 10.0

We love this beach - especially in winter! It is also very close to some special places - Tata and Ligar Beaches, the Wainui Falls, the Grove Reserve and more - always something new to discover. Molly Bs is to be reccommended…and the cafes of Takaka are not far away.Guest review byPeterNew Zealand
