Excellent service from Elliott and Ben overnight. They drove me to the airport a few times to pick up some logistical issues and we're incredibly friendly and welcoming. A great first impression to coming into the country. My wife and I had our flights delayed and we didn't get in until 2 am and they gave us a late check-out until 12 at no extra charge. We overslept and missed breakfast but the chef specially made our toddler scrambled eggs. They even offered to take me and my wife to the local pharmacy to get some supplies for our baby. Overall the service was very sweet and caring. We'll be back. Customer service to be proud of!

Loved absolutely everything, from the well thought out design to the comfortable bed. The view from the bathtubs and even the ability to Bluetooth your own music through the room.     Breakfast and dinner are included in the rate, and the food was always beautifully presented, of high quality and nothing was too much trouble if changes were requested; local produce was featured and freshness evident; staff were welcoming and friendly, always happy to make your stay comfortable and pleasant; the tree house accommodation was spectacular, views to the sea, views to the snow covered mountains, all amenities provided, with fresh cookies daily and complimentary minibar with local produce - extra comfortable beds, lovely soft large robes to fit even larger people, a lovely large deep acrylic bath with supplied candles and a heated bathroom floor, smart curtaining to isolate bathroom area, bedroom area, an electric gas heater as well as reverse cycle air conditioner for heating - at times we were too warm, although outside was very cold especially at night. Modern facilities such as smart TV, smart toilet, smart lighting, etc., made the accommodation a joy to experience. No sensation of other guests at all. So private, and quiet. Watching the deer in the adjacent paddock running in the wind was entertaining, and watching the snow get lower over the few days we were there was nice.

    This is an amazing place to stay and the view from our room was spectacular and incredibly breathtaking 🥰 Im glad i upgraded to premium plus room at level 8, because oh lord! The view of the majestic Aoraki through my window is something I will take with me forever!! The room was super tidy with all mentioned amenities. The restaurant offered dinner and breakfast buffet which we enjoyed dearly. The staff were friendly and accomodating.

    Central Christchurch (NZ's second largest city) is ideal for strolling around on a sunny day. It's situated on a picturesque river with beautiful Botanic Gardens and Hagley Park within easy reach. (Stunning blooming flowers Sept-Oct.) There are plenty of good eateries and it's awesome to see the modern shopping areas and facilities that have resurfaced over the last few years.

    I adore Lake Tekapo. Views for days. Good hot pools. Peaceful. A decent serious hike up Mt John to the Observatory Cafe or an easier one up to Cowes Lookout, both with amazing views. I've been going for years - still small but a good supermarket now and more eateries. It is getting busier and pricey, both accommodation and eateries. On the road to Queenstown so an easy stopover. Go with a car if you can - a side trip into Aoraki Mt Cook and walks up the Hooker Valley are worth it.

    Kaikoura can be overlooked as a destination, but is definitely worth an overnight stay or more, great vibe with restaurants, cafes, shops and first class hotel, Lots of walks, suitable for all levels of fitness from a stroll on the beach to a hike over to South Bay and back. the seal colony, or go whale watching, or just take in the views.

    Mount Cook Village is a great location if you are planning to do some walks in the area. We did the Hooker Valley Track, Sealy Tarn Track, and the Tasman Glacier View after which we were exhausted and travelling to another location would have been a bit much. Staying at the village was the best decision. At night you can travel slightly out to get the most exceptional views of stars and in the morning you wake up to unbelievably beautiful views of mountains. If you are lucky you might just get some snow.

    My husband and I have been coming to Twizel for several years now. My husband comes for the fishing and I for the photography. We have stayed in all seasons. This time it was July middle of winter. Didn't catch any fish but I got some great photos. Had a lovely meal out at Poppies. Would recommend them. We were disappointed with our accommodation, but it didn't ruin our stay in Twizel.

    Opuke Thermal Pools & Spa are a must see, must do. World class! The mountains are beautiful. If you have transport, close by is Ashburton, Lake Coleridge and much more. The information centre in Methven, "I-Hub" is a wealth of information and things to do. Off the beaten track, an alive, looked after, vibrant small town NZ with genuine charm and a smile. My wife and I loved it, we will be back.

    Charming little town with an amazing bakery called "A La Baguette". Plenty of other wonderful shops to browse through and find the perfect gift. Full of history re French settlement in 1840 and British settlement in 1850. It's a really fun drive there too - endlessly zigzagging roads that showcase incredible vistas at each tight turns. Lots of walks in the area too for all levels. I visited in September when it was cool but sunny; I'm sure it must be a bustling place to visit in the Summer months.
