- From $22.89 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 8.1Very Good - What previous guests thought, 402 reviewsWe stayed in Nepal for 40 something days and every time we hit Kathmandu, we stayed here. Did like three separate bookings. Great location, right in the border of Thamel. Staff was nice and helpful. What you get for the price was even more nice. Breakfast was filling. You can leave your stuff there as long as you need if you’re going around Nepal. Rooms were clean, shower was hot. There was air fans which we love as a type of white noise. Great restaurant and coffee place right next to the hotel. Convenience store and pharmacy in front. Great option really.Guest review byMarcosPuerto Rico
- From $153 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 8.9Excellent - What previous guests thought, 732 reviewsVery nice atmosphere, luxury and royal soul and historical background, very comfortable beds and soft pillows all best for sleep and rest, tasty coffee, nice healthy breakfast options for vegetarians (I loved fresh variations of fruits, chia pudding, pancakes...) and dinner restaurant, stuff is so supportive and attendant at all moments, helped me to make some photos, showed the halls. For sure choose this hotel again!Guest review byJustinaLithuania
- From $113 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 9.1Wonderful - What previous guests thought, 270 reviewsWe had an amazing time and felt like at home at Sapana Lodge. The staff is super friendly and welcoming. The location is great and we could see the elephants just from the hotel terrace. The food is super tasty and fresh. The hotel offers lots of activities, and we tried walking tour and jeep safari, and we could spot many animals during the tour. The atmosphere is so relaxing and peaceful, would love to stay longer.Guest review byDianaUkraine

The quality of service provided by Sanjay, Sudip, Pardip, Alon and Kolpana exceeded our expectation. Special thanks to everyone working at the reception, helping us with everything. We were especially grateful for Suyan's kindness and supportive attitude! We will be staying here for sure during our next Nepal trip!Guest review byRobert PocskaiHungary
- From $65 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 8.1Very Good - What previous guests thought, 784 reviewsThe Kathmandu Guest House sits right in the middle of Thamel. It is great to walk out the front door and have so many choices of restaurants, shopping, and easy walking distance to the bazaar. Despite the always interesting semi organized chaos outside the gate, the Kathmandu Guest House has a beautiful quiet garden where one can relax.Guest review byBrianUnited States

On the first day of Kathmandu in the city bus I was stolen money from my poshest. Until that time I had thought that Nepali were honest and diligent. So that I didn’t pay attention to things like having my money stolen on the bus. On the last day the airport was closed because of the strike, so I had to reschedule my ticket and stay in hotel one night more The city is so dusty and lots of rubbish. However, I like the old cultural constructions and festivals.Guest review byChihokuJapan - 8.0

We spent two nights here in a beautiful setting – highly recommended to everyone! Everything was clean, peaceful, and calm. Despite our delay, the owner waited for us until midnight, helped us with the check-in, and arranged everything we needed for the trek and our visit to the national park. Wonderful people – always helpful and kind. Once again, thank you for the lovely time we had at your place – we’d be happy to stay again. Wishing you all the best... namaste!Guest review byMiroslavCzech Republic - 10.0
"Staying in Patan was like living inside a museum.
"Staying in Patan was like living inside a museum. The blend of ancient temples, artisan workshops, and cozy cafes made every walk special. Patan Durbar Square is breathtaking, especially in the early morning light. It’s less crowded than Kathmandu, yet full of life and charm. A must-visitGuest review byumit - 10.0
Bhaktapur – A Timeless Heritage Gem!
Bhaktapur – A Timeless Heritage Gem! Bhaktapur is an absolute must-visit for anyone traveling to Nepal. This ancient city is like stepping into a living museum, with its well-preserved temples, intricate wood carvings, and stunning courtyards. The Durbar Square is a highlight, showcasing breathtaking architecture and rich history. Walking through the narrow alleys, you’ll find traditional pottery, local crafts, and delicious Newari cuisine—don’t miss the famous Juju Dhau (King Curd)! Unlike the hustle of Kathmandu, Bhaktapur offers a peaceful and immersive experience, making it perfect for history lovers and culture enthusiasts. The city's charm, warmth, and timeless beauty make it one of Nepal’s best destinations. Highly recommended!Guest review byAnandNepal - 10.0

Bandipur was unexpectedly the highlight of our trip to Nepal! I'd come back here in a flash. It was built on the human scale, the people seemed very happy, and noise and exhaust were a bare minimum.Guest review bybryanUnited States - 10.0

You have to say No!
You have to say No! Everyone wants you to buy from them but they are used to being rejected. There are some people wanting to talk to you, often wanting to show you their workplaces etc so they can lure you in to buy their wares. Conversations always start with Hello sir/madam. Which country are you from? However, lovely people and a lo ely place, full of history and religious beliefs.Guest review byColinNew Zealand - 8.0
Pokhara is a beautiful city with tourist attractions.
Pokhara is a beautiful city with tourist attractions. It was a difficult road journey in a Luxury Coach journey from Kathamandu which took 11 hours to travel 200km due to extremely poor road conditions and traffic jams. Nepal Government must improve the infrastructure and to have reliable airlines with good safety records to attract more tourists to help its economy as well.Guest review byDr Surya KumarUnited Kingdom - 10.0

We had such an awesome visit to Chitwan, made even better by our stay at this hotel. Such friendly and helpful service throughout. We organised all our safaris through the hotel (which included lunch) if it was a full day, this was very handy. Often we’d be tired after the long day out on safari (lucky enough to see lots of beautiful birds and rhinos). Facilities were good, bed very comfortable and nice hot shower. We ate a lot at the hotel which was very tasty. Fresh produce! Most guests seem to be getting involved with the safaris so are up early this can mean it can be a bit noisy in the mornings, which didn’t phase us.Guest review byEstherUnited Kingdom
