- From US$1,589.45 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 9.1Superb - What previous guests thought, 103 reviewsWe stayed at Tree Top Villa for 10 nights and that was the best choice in terms of location and privacy. We love walking and riding bicycles, so the Villa located in the jungle was the perfect choice to make the vacation a bit more diverse if you are slightly tired from the beach and social life. Even when it was raining - the terrace with its very private pool (not very big but just ideal for one adult or a couple of kids), trees, bats and birds - that was really romantic. The villa itself was so beautiful (we liked the architecture and style, and the master bathroom was gorgeous). We stayed at Amilla in low season - end of April - beginning of May, and we enjoyed the feeling of privacy (though most of the villas were occupied - we saw other guests mostly in restaurants. The service was also above all expectations - our butler Gondo was in touch 24*7 via WhatsApp and all our requests were met immediately. All other employees were also very friendly and helpful (we are quite demanding clients - but here there were no complaints at all - very good!). The variety of menu types in all the restaurants is very impressive (kids menu, keto, paleo, dairy-free, vegan and vegetarian, gluten free - and the personnel always keeps in mind your limitation). In all the restaurants they met our requests and cook in accordance with our wishes - that was more than convenient for us and three our kids with very different preferences. I also had very positive experience with the medicine department of the hotel - and they were very nice and helpful. In addition to describe the service - the meeting in the airport was perfect, the hotel has its very nice lounge where you could refresh and even check-in while having some healthy snacks and drinks with the great view. At the day of departure, the hotel's representatives accompanies us at the boat and in the hydro-plane, and at the check-in desk in the airport to the customs - that was very nice from them!Guest review byTatianaRussia
- From US$1,203.35 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 9.5Exceptional - What previous guests thought, 97 reviewsIt has been a week since we've come back from paradise on Earth. The beauty of the Maldives cannot be described, but the amazing experience of staying at Dusit Thani Maldives, which was simply perfect, can. To be perfectly honest, almost everything exceeded my (very high) expectation. The resort is a beautiful jungle/garden and cycling through it is a pleasure for all the senses (especially in the evenings, when you can smell frangipani). We have stayed in one of the ocean villas. The views were simply stunning. The villa was very spacious and cosy, and even though the furniture is not brand new, it is full of drama. Plus, they have the most comfortable pillows my head had ever touched. The big highight-and what convinced us to stay in the resort-is the Thai restaurant Benjarong with it amazing chef and staff-we were usually attended by Novika (foodie as myself, so she could provide great recommendation) and James, who was also super nice and attentive. After having dinner at Benjarong the first night, we booked all of our meals there (with the exception for the night of Eid celebration, when we dined on the beach with live local music and dancing-thanks Sharif. I especial recommend the soft shell crab with curry - powder, the lamb chops, and my favourite dish in the universe-the Thai green curry. My husband fell in love with the dessert with water chestnuts and ended up eating it twice a day 🙂 (and of course I ended up taking the Thai cooking class). Another highlight for the foodies was breakfast. while the choices of "western" food, pastries is impressive, my very favourite (and I had it every single day) was the noodles station. Also, make sure you try the passion fruit jam which is to die for. You can always ask Mona (yet another, cheerful foodie) for recommendations. Moving from the food... Above the Thai 'restaurant is the Sata bar. My husband took the cocktail making class there and we met a very gifted bar attender Amita.Guest review byHeribertoFrance
- Scored out of 10, guest rating 8.6Fabulous - What previous guests thought, 77 reviewsThe hotel is right on the beach, and the beach is lovely. Calm inlets to snorkel and swim, powdery white sand, palm trees for shade. As a scuba diver, I really appreciated the Liquid Salt dive center affiliated with the hotel. It made arranging my dive trips effortless, and the dive masters were lovely. Some of the best diving I've done. The hotel is not at all pretentious, just...comfortable and welcoming. They have several lounging areas with soft chairs and bean bags, a library of take-one-leave-one books, and board games. I happened to finish the book I brought while there, and swapped it for another. I have foods I can't eat, and the chef was very accommodating, making me customized meals and really taking care of me. It made such a difference since I was there during Ramadan and the few outside restaurants were mostly closed. After Aveyla I transferred to another island for a different diving experience, but I didn't like it nearly as much. I wish I had stayed! And if/when I come back to Maldives, I will choose Aveyla again.Guest review byLaurieUnited States
- From US$1,001.45 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 9.2Superb - What previous guests thought, 245 reviewsThis was a bucket list, 50th birthday treat and was everything I hoped for and more! The staff were fantastic-from arrival in Male, to seaplane, to boat arrival at coco palm, and every day until we left! Service was exceptional and everyone greeted you with a smile and how are you. It felt very genuine too and not forced. Highlights were our amazing lagoon villa which was maintained daily by Kashim (he added extras for my birthday too!) and the lovely Saeed at the restaurant who noticed small things like how I liked my tea! The turtle sanctuary was informative and the volunteers were just lovely and even the gift shop owner was great to talk to. And I swam with a reef shark and a stingray who were just hanging out in the lagoon! Wow!Guest review byHollyThailand
- From US$3,504.20 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 8.8Fabulous - What previous guests thought, 88 reviewsWe had an amazing stay in one of the beach villas. Island is gorgeous and this is a boutique hotel therefore quite personal. Naveen was our fantastic host who really made every effort to ensure we have a great stay and enjoy some of the activities we did. We never saw housekeeping staff yet our villa was cleaned/done up twice a day. The most surprising for me was the quality of the food whether it was room service or one of the restaurants; the food was really very good (not always the case even with 5 star hotels we have stayed in). All in all an amazing experience, would highly recommend.Guest review byDimitrisUnited Arab Emirates
- From US$796.65 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 9.3Superb - What previous guests thought, 1,595 reviewsThe resort is absolutely beautiful. A jungle themed island. I stayed beach side and was very happy I did, the coral reefs had a an abundance of species to admire. Snorkeling here is great even for children. Many services from diving, fishing trips to a spa The staff felt like family, such lovely people, from the cleaner of my room, around the resort to the manager. Top class service from all. The staff here definitely provide a 5 star experience. There wasn't one thing I didn't like about this resort. The work they do here to be as self-sustaining as possible is something close to my heart.Guest review byRevelleThailand
- From US$1,020.49 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 9.2Superb - What previous guests thought, 59 reviewsIt was our second visit to this hotel. Everything remained at the same high level as on our first visit. The villa with sunset and ocean view was lovely. Good maintenance, cleanliness, service - everything was top notch. We felt the care and attention to detail in the hotel. The cuisine was varied, everything is fresh and delicious. Several restaurants with a variety of cuisine. The main advantage of the hotel is a beautiful live reef, in the last days a huge turtle came directly to the villa and was in the lagoon for a few days, it was unforgettable.Guest review byJanetkaUkraine
- From US$1,583.01 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 9.7Exceptional - What previous guests thought, 73 reviewsOur butler Adu and the rest of the hotel staff were so welcoming, they did such a great job of making our stay extra special. Our villa was super comfortable and we had the most incredible sunset view from the terrace. We chose this resort in great part due to the dining options available, and the restaurants did not disappoint! We particularly loved Vakku and Onu. We enjoyed a very relaxing couples massage at the spa, but the really highlight were all of the activities, especially turtle snorkeling and snorkeling around the house reef.Guest review byNefeliUnited Arab Emirates

Food (especially Spice) is very tasty. The island and the surrounding reef is absolutely awesome. Transfer from the airport and arranging the sea plane is very smooth, no headaches, our flight was delayed, they still did everything to make sure we catch the final sea plane of the day.Guest review byMertNetherlands

I absolutely would return!
I absolutely would return! After the fact I was told this was a Russian resort but we interacted with a variety of guests during our visit. Our neighbors were guests 20 years ago and returned with two children. They were having an absolute ball. I loved the swim up bar at the pool - and the fact it was at the opposite end (along with a divider) from the children's area. Super attentive and friendly staff, great meals, I didn't tire of the options at the buffet. The a la carte restaurant was lovely too. We did the all inclusive and it was definitely worth it. Great chill vibe and overall a fun place to relax and play.Guest review byHollie - 10.0

Expected Dharavandoo just to be a transit island with it's airport traveling to a resort nearby. We had chosen to spend a few days in the Biosphere guesthouse. The charming guesthouse itself, the wonderfull staff and the range of activities made us extend our stay with a few days. It's the perfect startingpoint for alot of affordeable (water) activities and also the island has alot to offer (inc nice beaches, snorkling spot's, sports- and playgrounds, restaurant (Krill is recomended!),... We spent new year's eve where the islands council arranges a memorable big party for tourists and residents.Guest review byC_OutriggerBelgium - 10.0
The beach is so clean without any plastics wastes and trash.
The beach is so clean without any plastics wastes and trash. The sand bank is so beautiful and waters are coming with so amazing colors. I believe everyone traveled to Fulhadhoo was amazed by its beauty and tranquility. I do wish Fulhadhoo keeps its identity as exquisite, exclusive and pure inhabited islands open for travelers without increasing any unnecessary commercials. Just one thing for this island, the East sand band is soooo beautiful with its own serenity but I don’t understand why almost every day someone is burning rubber trash nearby which makes the sunrise time and mid-noon amazing waters time so unpleasant.Guest review by鲁西西China - 10.0

Maalhos is the ultimate getaway for anyone looking to escape the hustle and bustle of daily life. Nestled in the Maldives, it offers breathtaking views that will make you want to linger forever. The island is a hidden gem, perfect for those seeking tranquility. Picture-perfect beaches stretch out before you, inviting you to unwind and soak in the natural beauty. The wild forest adds a sense of adventure, giving you the chance to explore and connect with nature in its purest form. The vibrant reef is a must-see, and it’s easily accessible right from the shore—perfect for snorkelers or anyone keen on diving into the rich marine life. What truly stands out about Maalhos, though, is the local community. The people are incredibly friendly, welcoming, and always ready to lend a helping hand. Their warmth and hospitality add a special touch that truly makes you feel at home. If you're after a peaceful escape, stunning scenery, and a welcoming community, Maalhos is the place to be. Highly recommend it for anyone seeking an idyllic, laid-back retreat!Guest review byPetya ValkovaBulgaria - 10.0

Fehendoo is beautiful but it is very remote and not much to do on the island. It is great for relaxing and having downtime. Definitely do snorkeling and scuba if you can. The fishing wasn't what I expected. It was more like going out and watching a local fisherman fish. The island is very small. You can walk it but bikes were the best way to get around. I wouldn't take small children. It would be best for a secluded adult getaway.Guest review byJasonUnited States - 10.0
We liked almost everything.
We liked almost everything. Our vacation was relaxing and beautiful. The beach was perfect, with soft almost white sand and warm, clear blue water. The bungalow was was really cozy with sun set view. Snorkeling we saw sharks, turtles, so many amazing small fishes. And they were almost near our place. We had wonderful neighbors and made new friendships.Guest review byDaniela AntonovaSpain - 10.0
Amazing stay for one day after diving livaboard trip.
Amazing stay for one day after diving livaboard trip. Walking around was really relaxing as this island is QUIET! Personal highlights were playing volleyball with the locals (free court with lights, started at 9 and we went on until midnight!). Also Coral Boutique is a must visit - blue whale bones, and owner is super interesting to talk to! Don't leave the island without visiting the store! DFC for food is a must.Guest review byBogga SnrUnited Kingdom - 10.0

Fulhadoo is the most beautiful, unspoiled local island that welcomes all types of travelers to truly appreciate the beauty of Maldives without the crowds, fanciness of any resorts, yet you can experience the hospitality, the beautiful ocean at an affordable price. Come and enjoy Fulhadoo. The ocean is honestly unreal, out of this world beautiful. You need to see it yourself.Guest review byviennaCanada - 10.0
This is a small local island. It’s quiet and simple.
This is a small local island. It’s quiet and simple. The people are friendly. The beach and the sea is beautiful. There are a few restaurants on the island. We have limited choice on food. We recommend the restaurant called Moonshell as it provides more international food and the price is reasonable. There is another cafe near the pier where we can eat local Maldivian food. The cafe is popular among locals. The island is very close to the Manta point called Hanifaru Bay. We recommend this manta excursion as this is a wonderful once in a lifetime experience. It is convenient to bring cash and exchange some Maldivian money to spend and pay for the meals.Guest review byPo YueHong Kong
