- From US$898.33 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 9.5Exceptional - What previous guests thought, 93 reviewsIt has been a week since we've come back from paradise on Earth. The beauty of the Maldives cannot be described, but the amazing experience of staying at Dusit Thani Maldives, which was simply perfect, can. To be perfectly honest, almost everything exceeded my (very high) expectation. The resort is a beautiful jungle/garden and cycling through it is a pleasure for all the senses (especially in the evenings, when you can smell frangipani). We have stayed in one of the ocean villas. The views were simply stunning. The villa was very spacious and cosy, and even though the furniture is not brand new, it is full of drama. Plus, they have the most comfortable pillows my head had ever touched. The big highight-and what convinced us to stay in the resort-is the Thai restaurant Benjarong with it amazing chef and staff-we were usually attended by Novika (foodie as myself, so she could provide great recommendation) and James, who was also super nice and attentive. After having dinner at Benjarong the first night, we booked all of our meals there (with the exception for the night of Eid celebration, when we dined on the beach with live local music and dancing-thanks Sharif. I especial recommend the soft shell crab with curry - powder, the lamb chops, and my favourite dish in the universe-the Thai green curry. My husband fell in love with the dessert with water chestnuts and ended up eating it twice a day 🙂 (and of course I ended up taking the Thai cooking class). Another highlight for the foodies was breakfast. while the choices of "western" food, pastries is impressive, my very favourite (and I had it every single day) was the noodles station. Also, make sure you try the passion fruit jam which is to die for. You can always ask Mona (yet another, cheerful foodie) for recommendations. Moving from the food... Above the Thai 'restaurant is the Sata bar. My husband took the cocktail making class there and we met a very gifted bar attender Amita.Guest review byHeribertoFrance
- From US$1,589.45 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 9.1Superb - What previous guests thought, 103 reviewsThis hotel is truly amazing and beyond. All exeeded our expectation. From the arrival to the end we are speechless. We stayed 7 nights in lagoon water villa, meal plan dine all around .I recommend highly this mean plan because you can dine in all restaurants in the resorts, and to chose from a la carte menu and you can select wide choice of food, all type of alcohol and beverages without additional payment. We arrived in the airport of Male at 7 am in the morning and somebody from Amilla was waiting for us and we were invited in Amilla lounge. The lounge was super luxury and clean, with shower, snacks, tea and breakfast and many more.We stayed there around 2 hours and than took the sea plane to the island.Everything with the transfer was super well organized. We arrived in the resort around 10 am and our buttler show us our bungalow.Everything was ready and they gave us the room imediatelly. Our checking was done in advance.Their organisation was the best. Our vacantion started imediatelly we reach our bungalow. We stayed in water villa 306.It was amazing, spacious, clean, luxury, comfortable, nothing is enough to describe the villa.Super big and comfy bed, outdoor shower, outdoor pool-good size, living room, menu for pillows are only part of the details. Our mini bar was refilled daily and all included in the price. With this package dine around, you can order once per day room service in the room. The staff was super super super kind.I never see in Maldives so kind staff, plus all speaking excelent english, all of them reacted super fast to all our requests,we are super happy from our stay. The food was also excelent, they offer gluten free, vegan, meat, fish, dairy free, everything.Just super wide selection of food, lots of healty options, but in the same time they have pasta, pizza, burgers. The breakfast was excelent, champagne, fresh juces, pancakes, tea,a la carte menu, musli, cooked food, mama mia, everyting you can imagine. We were pampered like babies.Guest review byValiBulgaria
- Scored out of 10, guest rating 9.3Superb - What previous guests thought, 165 reviewsA Truly Unforgettable Stay in Paradise! Our stay at this beautiful resort in the Maldives was an absolute dream. The hotel is tucked away among tall palm trees, just 10 meters from a stunning white-sand beach with crystal-clear water. The entire island felt like a hidden paradise. One of the highlights of our trip was swimming with manta rays in the incredible Hanifaru Bay – a once-in-a-lifetime experience that we will never forget. Every day, the hotel provided us with clean beach towels, snorkeling masks, and fins, making it so easy to enjoy the sea and the underwater beauty. The staff were exceptional – always kind, professional, and genuinely caring. A special thank you to Sumesh, who went above and beyond every single day to make our stay perfect. He solved every little issue quickly and with a smile, making us feel completely looked after. We also want to highlight the head of dining, who ensured every meal was fresh, delicious, and beautifully served. The service in the restaurant was just as great as the food itself. For the price, the hotel was more than fair – clean, comfortable, and perfectly located. The island is small but absolutely magical, ideal for relaxation, nature lovers, and ocean adventures. We left with unforgettable memories and can’t wait to return. Highly recommended to anyone looking for a peaceful, beautiful escape with top-notch service.Guest review bySouvouGreece
- From US$888.03 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 8.7Fabulous - What previous guests thought, 108 reviewsWe stayed on one of the those water villas with a sunset view. The place was amazing, relaxing, and breath taking all at the same time. There were small sharks and sting rays right in front of our accommodation. We went there mid of April which was towards the end of summer and it rained 2/8 days that we stayed but it was still hot. They had one of these floating breakfast right in front of our room with an amazing view of the Indian Ocean and it is where I did my marriage proposal. The place was clean and the staff were really helpful. Meals were buffet style, no pork or crustaceans as the Maldives is pre dominantly Muslim. At first we were just expecting to chill out and relax in this island but there were activities and excursions as well. Tip: If you are not really into alcohol, Half Board will do you fine. Tip: Make sure your flights in and out of the Maldives matches with your seaplane flight in and out of the smaller islands as seaplanes are not 24hrs. Tip: Bring your own snorkelling equipment, it will save you some money.Guest review byFrankUnited States

The room was very comfortable and well-maintained, providing a perfect place to relax after a day of exploring. The guesthouse has a peaceful atmosphere, making it easy to unwind and take in the beauty of the island. Diving with Liquid Salt Divers was the highlight of my trip. The team is professional and knowledgeable, ensuring safe and exciting dives at breathtaking locations. The underwater life is amazing, and both seasoned divers and beginners will find something to love. I enjoyed my experience so much that I hope to return not just as a guest, but as a friend. The warmth and professionalism left a lasting impression, and I truly hope to stay in touch. If you’re looking for a comfortable stay and an unforgettable diving experience, I highly recommend Aveyla and Liquid Salt Divers.Guest review byJenniferGermany
- From US$248.39 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 9.3Superb - What previous guests thought, 206 reviewsThis hotel is by far my best experience in the Maldives. Everything was well thought, smooth and centered around genuine connection. All the staff members without exception are super welcoming and always attentive, from the booking to the transfer to the actual stay. It gives the unique atmosphere of being at home. They have organized everything so smoothly. The hotel activities and excursions are custom made and offer a private and privileged experience. The crew knows the area by heart and gives so many insights on the wildlife. The rooms are very spacious, super clean and with amazing views. The breakfast changes everyday and is very fresh. The hotel restaurant is also amazing and very affordable. The private beach is the best of the island and the reef is very vivid for snorkeling. Overall, the experience is unforgettable and gives the perfect blend of local but also soothing.Guest review byImaneFrance

The intimacy of each customer is a priority for the hotel. - the entire staff was absolutely incredible, I’ve never experienced such quality of service. thank you for your kindness - food was delicious: especially breakfast and Crab Shack restaurant. It was amazing. - a lot of cool activities were proposed - sand bank + the beach were more than beautiful, there’s no word. The color of the sand and of the sea is stunning. I could stay the entire day on my sunbed which were amazing by the way, and a very kind waiter was bringing us some water / cocktails - our beach room was huge, so nice, the bed was amazing. The bathroom was the bathroom of my dreams - no mosquitos at all - arrival at the airport, with a private lounge.Guest review byAnastasiaFrance

We liked almost everything. Our vacation was relaxing and beautiful. The beach was perfect, with soft almost white sand and warm, clear blue water. The bungalow was was really cozy with sun set view. Snorkeling we saw sharks, turtles, so many amazing small fishes. And they were almost near our place. We had wonderful neighbors and made new friendships.Guest review byDaniela AntonovaSpain - 10.0

Expected Dharavandoo just to be a transit island with it's airport traveling to a resort nearby. We had chosen to spend a few days in the Biosphere guesthouse. The charming guesthouse itself, the wonderfull staff and the range of activities made us extend our stay with a few days. It's the perfect startingpoint for alot of affordeable (water) activities and also the island has alot to offer (inc nice beaches, snorkling spot's, sports- and playgrounds, restaurant (Krill is recomended!),... We spent new year's eve where the islands council arranges a memorable big party for tourists and residents.Guest review byC_OutriggerBelgium - 10.0
The beach is so clean without any plastics wastes and trash.
The beach is so clean without any plastics wastes and trash. The sand bank is so beautiful and waters are coming with so amazing colors. I believe everyone traveled to Fulhadhoo was amazed by its beauty and tranquility. I do wish Fulhadhoo keeps its identity as exquisite, exclusive and pure inhabited islands open for travelers without increasing any unnecessary commercials. Just one thing for this island, the East sand band is soooo beautiful with its own serenity but I don’t understand why almost every day someone is burning rubber trash nearby which makes the sunrise time and mid-noon amazing waters time so unpleasant.Guest review by鲁西西China - 10.0

Maalhos is the ultimate getaway for anyone looking to escape the hustle and bustle of daily life. Nestled in the Maldives, it offers breathtaking views that will make you want to linger forever. The island is a hidden gem, perfect for those seeking tranquility. Picture-perfect beaches stretch out before you, inviting you to unwind and soak in the natural beauty. The wild forest adds a sense of adventure, giving you the chance to explore and connect with nature in its purest form. The vibrant reef is a must-see, and it’s easily accessible right from the shore—perfect for snorkelers or anyone keen on diving into the rich marine life. What truly stands out about Maalhos, though, is the local community. The people are incredibly friendly, welcoming, and always ready to lend a helping hand. Their warmth and hospitality add a special touch that truly makes you feel at home. If you're after a peaceful escape, stunning scenery, and a welcoming community, Maalhos is the place to be. Highly recommend it for anyone seeking an idyllic, laid-back retreat!Guest review byPetya ValkovaBulgaria - 10.0

Fehendoo is beautiful but it is very remote and not much to do on the island. It is great for relaxing and having downtime. Definitely do snorkeling and scuba if you can. The fishing wasn't what I expected. It was more like going out and watching a local fisherman fish. The island is very small. You can walk it but bikes were the best way to get around. I wouldn't take small children. It would be best for a secluded adult getaway.Guest review byJasonUnited States - 10.0

A beautiful island, lovingly maintained. Despite its age, it is in very good condition, clean and comfortable. We lived in room 222 - cozy and cool. Professional and friendly staff. All issues are resolved promptly and kindly. The food is beyond praise, a real culinary show. The reefs are alive, with diverse wildlife: sharks, turtles and fish. Nice live music. Special thanks to manager Nipun for his warm and professional support.Guest review byAngelikaLuxembourg - 10.0

Amazing stay for one day after diving livaboard trip. Walking around was really relaxing as this island is QUIET! Personal highlights were playing volleyball with the locals (free court with lights, started at 9 and we went on until midnight!). Also Coral Boutique is a must visit - blue whale bones, and owner is super interesting to talk to! Don't leave the island without visiting the store! DFC for food is a must.Guest review byBogga SnrUnited Kingdom - 10.0

Fulhadoo is the most beautiful, unspoiled local island that welcomes all types of travelers to truly appreciate the beauty of Maldives without the crowds, fanciness of any resorts, yet you can experience the hospitality, the beautiful ocean at an affordable price. This is a small local island. It’s quiet and simple.
This is a small local island. It’s quiet and simple. The people are friendly. The beach and the sea is beautiful. There are a few restaurants on the island. We have limited choice on food. We recommend the restaurant called Moonshell as it provides more international food and the price is reasonable. There is another cafe near the pier where we can eat local Maldivian food. The cafe is popular among locals. The island is very close to the Manta point called Hanifaru Bay. We recommend this manta excursion as this is a wonderful once in a lifetime experience. It is convenient to bring cash and exchange some Maldivian money to spend and pay for the meals.Guest review byPo YueHong Kong
