Wonderful hotel with beachfront location. Super attentive staff always welcoming you with a smile. We did a couple of excursions with them and they were great. It was by far the best hotel in our trip to Maldives. They supply beach towels every day and lovely breakfast. We tried the dinner at the beach and it was great.

Having traveled extensively across the Maldives, I can confidently say that Bageecha Stay is the best guesthouse I have ever experienced. From the moment I arrived, it was clear that this was more than just a place to stay—it felt like home, thanks to the incredible hospitality and warm atmosphere created by the host, Ismael, and his exceptional team. Ismael went above and beyond to ensure every aspect of my visit was perfect. His attention to detail, deep knowledge of the island, and genuine care for his guests made my stay unforgettable. Whether organizing activities or sharing insights about local life, his passion for hospitality truly shone through. Every meal was a masterpiece, combining fresh local ingredients with remarkable skill and creativity. From mouthwatering Maldivian delicacies to innovative international dishes, each bite was a treat. I can honestly say it was some of the best food I’ve had in the Maldives, and I looked forward to every meal during my stay. The guesthouse itself was spotlessly clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully designed, offering a perfect balance of modern amenities and local charm. Its location on Dharavandhoo is ideal for exploring the stunning beauty of Baa Atoll, from its pristine beaches to the incredible underwater world of Hanifaru Bay. Bageecha Stay is a shining example of what guesthouses in the Maldives should strive to be. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for an authentic, warm, and unforgettable Maldivian experience. The rooms are just as beautiful as shown in pictures and also provide a yoga mat and a beach bag. The whole building feels really spacious, bright and open and has its own Bikini beach area right in front, where you can just hang out or go snorkeling or stand up paddling. You get daily updates about weather, tides and activities. Even if the island is really remote and luckily not touristy, you can pretty much do any activity like snorkeling trips, fishing trips, dolphin cruise etc, all carefully prepared and done by the owner Ismail himself. On top of that there were complimentary activities done by Ismail such as house reef snorkeling and short thematic walks, so you could truly get to know the island and Maldivian culture. The island itself is also just super beautiful. With only a small village, half of the island is pretty green jungle and the bikini beach area spans across a wide part of the island. You cannot walk all around the isla nd, which makes it perfect to have nice little isolated beach areas to yourself. Also the house reef of the island is amazing with so many different fish - it’s just a dream for snorkeling. If you are lucky you can even see Manta rays right from the beach or from the SUP. What really makes this place special is the people who go above and beyond so that you can have your perfect holiday - from fresh coconut right from the tree or amazing chai tea, to organizing trips that are not regularly offered. We had the most amazing vacation at this beautiful hotel. Hotel is small and perfect for quiet getaway, we got a room overlooking the beach and the sea. Room itself is very big, spacious and comfortable, bed is soft and comfy, bathroom is really large and spacious with enough toiletries for duration of the stay, towels are changed regularly and the room is cleaned daily! There is kettle for tea/coffee and small fridge which is very convenient! Beach is amazing, 5 steps away from hotel with enough beach chairs and beautiful view. Staff at the hotel is amazing, literally everyone is so polite, welcoming, smiling and going out of their way to make your stay memorable, from housekeeping, restaurant staff to managment. Special thanks to Poky for arranging beautiful excursions with manta rays and sea turtles. There are only few restaurants on the island and we tried food in all of them but we loved the food at the hotel restaurant the most and ate there most of the time. Pick up with the boat, flight tickets for domestic flight, everything was arranged by hotel staff. There were only 2 or 3 other couples with us in the hotel at the time so we enjoyed full privacy and had the whole beach for ourselves throughout our journey. But the most amazing part of this hotel is in-house coral reef right in front of beach! We were so mesmerized with the amount of beautiful exotic fish and sea life which can keep you occupied for hours and hours if you like snorkeling and exploring. Except thousands of different fish species we also encountered sting rays, sea turtles, sharks etc… on a daily basis. It’s more interesting than any national geographic documentary movie. So this place is absolutely perfect for relaxing holiday at exotic location, we would recommend it to anyone and would be the most happy to come back again! One week was not enough for our stay!

Warming and helpful staff. The room was clean and renovated.we chose an indoor one, and others have patio or balcony. The restaurant was perfect, the owner fully understood our problem coming late. Location is great

Everything was amazing starting from the hotel ending with the staff. Especially Janith, he was there for us every single step of the way. He went out of his way to care for us. This is probably the best resort in Fulhadhoo. My wife was pregnant and they went above and beyond to make she had what she needed. At one point I even felt overpampered lol. We had a romantic dinner on the beach and the whole staff came to make that a special event for us. We did the dolphin thing with them too. Saw the dolphins. Everything was impeccably arranged.

Everything. It was clean. It was well located for mostly everyone to get an amazing sea view in the panoramic view windows. I wish it had more indoor communal seating. Like at the reception a sofa or something so if people weren’t eating they can sit there rather than sitting in the dining area with the diners. Or sitting outside by the pool. It doesn’t change my amazing experience, just an idea for more improvement. They made everything work, whatever you’d ask they made it work. I’ve never experienced more hardworking hotel staff.
