TurkeyFirst of all, I highly recommend you read it until the end. An excellent facility on a small and quiet local island full of underwater riches. As soon as you put your feet into the water at the tourist beach, you are surrounded by dozens of different species of fish, but swimming with the fish seen on Youtube is a priceless experience. Mr. Ahmad, the owner of the hotel, is a very polite and helpful person. He is very professional in making all the necessary arrangements for you when you arrive from the capital to the island, in welcoming you at the entrance and when you leave the island. If you want to participate in off-island activities, they will help you as much as they can. You have breakfast as an open buffet at the best restaurant on the island. You should definitely try the product made especially from fresh tuna. Among the 4 hotels I stayed in on 4 different islands during my Maldives trip, this was definitely the newest, cleanest and cheapest. I can guarantee that you will feel at home in this hotel. I would also like to consider that restaurants, off-island activities, and many other things on the island are cheaper than on many tourist islands.
Also; Mahibadhoo may not be the best island in the Maldives, but it is a fact that there are better ones in terms of nature and tourism. But if you really want to relax in a quiet environment, this quiet and tiny island located in the natural wonder South Ari Atoll is definitely one of the best local islands you can find. Never mind that the tourist beach is smaller than some, because there are only a few people on the beach at most, so the beach is yours! I definitely recommend splitting your Maldives holiday across more than one island, as I did, and devoting at least some of it to this island and this hotel.

I want to thank the hotel team for their warm welcome. They have their own speedboat that takes you from the airport to the island. At the start of the island, an electric bus picks you up and brings you directly to the hotel. What follows is a delightful surprise and a seamless check-in to a cozy room with panoramic windows, refreshing air conditioning, and a stunning view.

Sands Grand is one of the best places to stay. It is near the harbour, very clean and quiet at night and you can enjoy a beautiful green view while eating breakfast.
Shaheen is very responsible and kind, always there for you. If you have any concerns or problems, you will always get a fast response with a solution. He has a lot of experience from the luxury resorts and makes a great manager. I did the whale shark tour and the diving experience. Even though it is wild nature and you have a 50:50 chance to see a whale shark or any other animal, I am sure you will be lucky. The whole crew is very eager to bring you the best experience. My tour was already booked and Shaheen postponed it to the next day because of the weather to make sure I wouldn’t be disappointed. The next day we saw mantas, whale sharks and turtles beside many other fishes.
Fairooz from the reception will always make you smile and take care of you, Brayen & Cheff from the kitchen are very kind and welcoming, wont ever let you stay hungry as the food is delicious (the breakfast is set and changes everyday, I guess there were 4 types of meals) and if its not enough for you, you can ask for more and Abdullah & team will make sure you come back to a clean, fresh & cool room. The room service is on request and my room was still cleaned every day except of one and even on that day I got fresh towels and water when I asked. Once there were flowers waiting for me. High class service.
You get two small bottles of water every day, there is a mosquito cream and spray everywhere in the hotel and you can borrow fins & other equipment anytime. Oh and you can also borrow a bike near the bikini beach.
Bikini beach is up to 10 min walk, tip of the island is 45min-1,5hour walk(depends), 25 min run.

ItalyI loved the atmosphere, the attention to details in and outside the rooms and with guests too. Food (breakfast and dinner) is delicious and healthy. Good position, 3 minutes walking from the bikini beach. Staff is fantastic, they pick you up and take care of you luggage, they organize the excursions for you giving you water, food and umbrella for the sun. Rooms have a/c with dry function and ceiling fans. We really felt cuddled. Thank you Noor for your kindness!

The owner of the hotel Ishan did everything possible to make our stay comfortable. The staff tried to change the food for us, first from fruits there were watermelons, and then papaya, from the main course they served fish with rice or pasta with chicken and there were different vegetable salads and even potatoes a couple of times. The fish was cooked very tasty.
You can ask Ishan to rent bicycles. We were given the opportunity to ride for one day for free, it was very nice. We will gladly stay with you again if we are in Toddoo.

The breakfast was good, we also eat dinner one night there, we ordered fish(it was huge) and was really tasty and it was only 10$/person. Also the host was really nice and helpful. We had a standalone bungalow just off the beach. The beach was clean, with fine white sand. Snorkelling: The house reef started not far off the beach and extended to the drop-off which is where most of the action was. Snorkelling along the drop-off was incredible. On good days the visibility was more than 40 feet down, and we were literally surrounded by fish of all sorts. The largest fish we saw was a Napolean wrasse which appeared suddenly next to us on the reef. Several small sharks could be seen throughout the day. You can snorkel around most of the island - they give you a map and guide on the entry and exit points to the house reef. Food: Great. We went for the full-board option, with buffet breakfast, lunch and dinner. Plenty of options at all meals. Bars: Wonderful. It's been our first time in Maldives and for both of us it was the best trip we ever had. Villa Park is a great place to relax, enjoy the sun, nature, the beach, the walks and so on. It's a nice destination not only for honeymoons but also for families and friends's trip. The staff has been professional, friendly and kind. Our host Nizam really took care of us: he helped us to change room smoothly and greatly managed our request. The most beautiful sea I have ever seen in my entire life. And mind you, I have visited many seas in many countries! For food, I recommend the restaurant at the Dhiguveli hotel and the Teapot restaurant. Getting around the island is very easy; you can reach any place quickly on foot. An amazing snorkelling beach -no boats or travel required -just thousands of colourful fish and turtles, perfect white sand and palm trees. The concession stand sold delicious, fresh-picked fruit-watermelon, papaya, bananas. I didn't like that the island lost most of it's green and I didn't see the wild nature I prefer. There was a lot of construction going on the moment I was there, I felt discomfort because of that. And maybe in 1-2 years it's going to be over I think. But on the other hand there's just amazing diving on the house reef and nearby reefs. We enjoyed 7 days on the island. The rooms are very clean. The food is AMAZING! Everyone from staff are kind. The resort is sustainable, they try very hard to recycle and repurpose almost everything which is really nice. All inclusive is the smarter choice, trust me😄 The snorkeling is really fun! The whole island stands on coral reef and there is a lot to see! Maybe bring your own equipment, although you can rent. It is a small enough island to walk around. The locals are extremely friendly - always saying hello. There are 3 restaurants all along the west coast. Compass seems most popular. But all are good with same offering of food. There is a fair amount of building going on at the moment as they gear up for more tourists. We used South Ari Dive for our diving trips. You need maximum 3 days to complete all trips, any more than that would have to be someone who loves water sports as these are the main activities in this country, anyways. Bring a mosquito or any insect repellent, you will need these after a stroll on the shores or anywhere there are plants. Also have an anti-nausea pill if you are the seasick type. Taxis have a fixed price for each location, check that out. Alcohol in the resorts is expensive but then again that's all you got. Best to pay all meals or include dinner in your package as there are almost no restaurants outside, depending on the island, and if you find one it's either a chips or coffee spots.Guest review byYvetteSaudi Arabia - 10

A Wonderful Beach Holiday. Necessary structure: shops and cafes are available. The ability to pay with a bank card, as well as in cash (USD, MVR). Good exchange rate in all places. This resort is a nice isolated intimate island, staff is very kind and welcoming, rooms are nice, clean. tidy and spacious, well equipped and services twice a day. Food is mediocre. Activities and attractions are limited - scuba diving is great, the rest of the excursions and watersports are below average and highly priced for the what you get. Our overall conclusion is "insufficient value for money" I have rated it as 4/5 because we've enjoyed our time, but almost any spot at the Maldives is enjoyable with no much effort required from the resortGuest review byRoobsyIsrael
