Extra thank you for the girls at spa, that made my mood x10 better)) The road to the place is kinda tough for a big car, but you should be ready for such roads in Montenegro. Personnel kindly helps with parking of your car. The place itself is calm and far from the Kotor town, so no disturbances for your stay. Comfortable and beautiful exit to the bay.

The breakfast was plentiful, diverse, and honestly an amazing way to start the day. The hotel has it's own little swimming area in the bay, including it's own sunbeds. My wife and I would do a little activity in Kotor in the morning and then we'd spend the afternoon lounging in the water and sunbeds. It was amazing and very heavenly. The hotel did a great job of calling taxis for us whenever we needed.

my wife and I really really really loved the hotel casa del mare so much. We had a clear view of the mountains and sea. We spent so much time everyday sitting in the balcony staring out to the sea and soaking in the magnificent beauty of the environment. We never knew Montenegro was so beautiful. The breakfast was lovely and had different options. The service by the staff from reception, kitchen was very good. All the staff always had a smile on their face and were ready to help attend to our requests and questions. I must make special mention(and my wife reminded me not to forget) of Angela- the lady at the reception. She made a massive impression on us. Right from the 1st day we arrived, she walked out to help with our luggage, she came up to our room to make sure everything was in order. During our stay she always had excellent recommendations of restaurants and fun tourist attractions for us to visit. Anytime we needed a cab, she would as quick to make a call and sort it out. She always had a welcoming smile even when we had so many questions on our 1st day. She gave us a map of the city to help us move around also. Even though we initially booked for 3 nights because of how well we loved the hotel and how well we were treated, we booked an extra night! One other thing Angela did for my wife and I that we cannot forget was suggesting that she packed a to-go pack of breakfast since we missed our breakfast in the dining area, as we were rushing to get ready and catch a cab(which Angela also arranged the previous day for us) to the airport on our departure date- this was a very touching gesture. Angela is the best host we have had the pleasure of meeting in a hotel in a very long time. I highly recommend this hotel to any visitor to Kotor.

    The apartment is a dream! I was staying on the ground floor with the pool directly behind doors to the terrace. From there you have a splendid view across the bay (fjord) and onto the mountains on the opposite side. The apartment is really spacious and had everything I needed. Everything was super clean and bed was very comfortable too. Upon arrival I received a complimentary bottle of water and two small bottles of white wine. Peter, the owner, was also very helpful and friendly, and responded very quickly, when I had a request. I also decided to extend my stay, which I could arrange with him very quickly without any complications.

    Amazing location right on the water. Owners were extremely friendly, helpful and accommodating - we felt like family. Awesome breakfast served at the water's edge. Quiet, comfortable rooms.     Beautiful old town, essential to take a boat trip along the bay to view the majestic mountains. The cable car is also a great activity, not only do you get a view of Kotor Bay but when you get to the top there is a lot to explore. The roads are very busy so it takes a while to get around. Essential to book a taxi before you arrive at the airport as the taxis from there are very expensive. Absolutely amazing scenery. Very busy old town as cruise liners arrive daily.

    Dobrota is a short walk from the old town. It is best to stay outside the old town if you have a car. The walk to the old town is along the bay, so you won’t feel it is a long way. Seafood is great at Dobrotski Dvori restaurant in Dobrota! Lovely restaurant

    A very small peaceful place in the Kotor Bay.

    A very small peaceful place in the Kotor Bay. We were there in August and there was no public events, parties, or other entertaining options. You have only few local stores, a bakery, few restaurants, and a beach to enjoy. The only road leading through Prcanj is pretty very stressful to drive it. It is very narrow and windy with blind corners and yes, count with many stops and much longer ride because of busy traffic. If you need more contents, Kotor is a very nice city to visit nd not so far.

    Good self catering apartment equipped with basic kitchen utensils for cooking. Would be helpful to have some necessities such as cooking oil, salt and pepper, which guests staying only a few nights as we did, are unlikely to purchase. Two double bedrooms and two bathrooms means the apartment would be particularly good value when shared between more than one family. Good base for exploring Boka Bay, though there are options closer to Kotor if this is your main reason for visiting. All in all we found the apartment a great base for our short trip. The pool area was lovely with sensational views. We would have liked to know that there was no cafe/ bar on site however, as the photos showed, as this was part of the reason we chose this particular apartment. During the day we ate at Tramontana Beach Bar which was lovely - a bonus was the children’s play area. We had a day out exploring Boka Bay with a private hire boat company - Taxi Boat 65. We found this to be an excellent way to make the most of our short time there and our skipper to be very knowledgeable and informative. On this day we ate at Ribarsko selo - a fish/ seafood restaurant accessed by boat. The setting was beautiful and the food wonderful. You do need to book ahead.

    The town has lovely old buildings .

    The town has lovely old buildings . However, it is like walking through a shopping arcade full of tourist tack. Lots of bars and restaurants. But very little genuine residential buildings. A beautiful town inundated with tourists.

    A beautiful little town - relaxed, historic and picture...

    A beautiful little town - relaxed, historic and picture perfect. Love that they have stopped cars entering the town. Restaurants along waterfront were all excellent, staff polite, helpful and spoke good English. Easy boat taxis to Our Lady of the Rocks. Seems to be a popular destination wedding venue, especially at weekends, but this just adds to the buzz of the town. Love love love Perast!! Two days is perfect.

    Nice small place, great with family with children.

    Nice small place, great with family with children. Small beaches, nice and quiet. City center is small but has a nice park and you can find great cafe with excellent cakes. There are restaurants on the seashore that has nice food. There is also museum "Rimski mozaici" that we didn't visit cause it wasn't working but we heard it is great.
