The Riad itself is beautiful, a welcoming downstairs garden where a delicious breakfast is served and a rooftop with a pool and communal areas both in and out of sunlight. As the capital city Rabat has a very different feel to it...
As the capital city Rabat has a very different feel to it from Marrakesh or Fez. It is a modern metropolis and whilst we were there did not feel very touristy and felt very local. There are some amazing things to see and do. We were there for three nights and felt that this was sufficient. It doesn’t have the same chaotic antiquity of other Moroccan cities but was a fun place to visit. The Andalucian gardens and the kasbah were fun to walk around and if you like modern art then the Momma museum is a must also the tower and mausoleum were a fascinating visit. we primarily at at local restaurants which were good and very cheap.
