Absolutely amazing!!! Just come come come you won't regret it LOL. The suite is beautiful and spacious, Very good location and good view of the whole medina city at the restaurant,enjoy the sunset . Hotel room is better than the pictures shown here. From the gate to the parking lot,When you arrive , call the hotel, the traditional well-dressed bell-boy would take you to the parking lot and help take your luggagel . At the Reception，Fatima is absolutely helpful and friendly and happy, And also the manager. They impressed me a lot. I will surely come next time. They are all happy person. We even make friends LOL... thank you all

The riad is absolutely beautiful and full of charm, in a fantastic location on a very safe street, and the locals are incredibly friendly. The terrace offers breathtaking views, accompanied by the cheerful, twinkling songs of birds.     This is no doubt the best riad we have ever been to. Since the moment we walked in, we were mesmerized. This riad is absolutely beautiful. We parked our car nearby and walked about 5 minutes to the Riad's street. It can be a little hard to find, given the fact that it is kind of hidden. We were welcomed by Yassine, the most amazing host. He made us feel completely comfortable and was always ready to help us out. The bedroom was really pretty, spacious and clean. The bed was extremely comfortable and we had airconditioner in case we needed it. There is also a pool on the inside, the ceiling isn't open so even if it's raining it's possible to go swimming. We also talked with the manager Mohamed, a very kind person and very helpfull and we were so glad to have met all of them, it really is an incredible staff. No wonder this place has such good reviews.

    This former family villa is extraordinarily nice and beautiful. Rooms are big and the garden with its swimming pool is so inviting. However, the very best part is the superb staff - Zarah and Hamza went out of their way to make the stay comfortable. The riad is in a nice neighbourhood about 15 minutes ride from the medina and it's easy to hail a taxi in a busy street nearby or ask the staff to call one to the villa.

    Loved everything about it. The ideal riad. Lovely staff. Nice hammam. Good breakfast. Felt very well looked after and I will be recommending to all my friends and family. The beds were fine but could be improved a little. The water in the shower didn’t drain properly. And the towels were ready for replacement. These small things didn’t impact my experience significantly and overall it was still 10/10.

    The rooms and the environment of Hotel Sahrai is super good!! And the view on the terrace outside the restaurant is great! The hotel has swimming pool with view of Medina of Fes, but unfortunately we stayed during the winter time and didn’t have a chance to swim. The breakfast is good compared to the normal hotels in Fes, they offer many kinds of fruits and vegetables. Overall recommend!

    Early September was the wrong time to go there (my mistake)...

    Early September was the wrong time to go there (my mistake) - far too hot to be enjoyable. Getting around in the Medina was very difficult and sometimes frustrating. There one can easily fall into the trap of being accosted by self-styled guides who will take you to various shops and ask you for money at the end. Perhaps for an older traveller it would have been better to lodge outside the Medina and visit it from there with an official tour. On the positive side, some of the sites were very beautiful and the people mostly very friendly and helpful.

    The medina is a Unesco protected cultural heritage.

    The medina is a Unesco protected cultural heritage. Too bad the only thing you can see, apart from some (mostly closed) gates, is old narrow streets and shops. Locals prey on tourists in order to squeeze them dry :) In Rabat or Salé you can get a more authentic sense of a medina without the commercial pressure.

    There were a lot of artisans which was nice.

    There were a lot of artisans which was nice. We were often set upon by people trying to take us somewhere and wanting money, even when we said no they wouldn’t leave us alone. After a time we didn’t stop anywhere which really was a shame. The amount of garbage was also quite distressing and took away from some of the sights. We took a tour to the middle Atlas Mountains which was really lovely. The food was good everywhere we ate in the Medina.
