I loved everything about this place! We got a room in the top floor, with a fantastic view of the town, it was clean and inexpensive, the beds and pillows were comfortable... just loved it! Also, the location is second to none: just a few steps away from the main square and shops, but far enough not to be disturbed by the noise. Lastly, the staff always there at hand and being very helpful.

Had an absolutely lovely stay here. The owner and the staff are very attentive and create a really heartwarming atmosphere. Location is great actually: very close to Medina and all attractions, but the neighborhood is quiet and not crowded at the same time. Room is clean and has everything needed. Definitely recommend.

The staff were so welcoming when we arrived and throughout our stay nothing was too much trouble for them. The breakfast was delicious up on the terrace and our room was lovely and really clean. It was a ten minute walk to the souk which was very convenient. I would definitely stay here again.

The staffs were very friendly especially Fatima and Salim.Fatima gave us all the informations that we needed,she is really nice.My son had a temperature so when I told salim he got me paracetamol.Both of them they speak good English.The room and the view was beautiful .

We stayed at the hotel for one night and the room was clean with a wonderful view of the mountains and the location was excellent. Only two minutes from Chefchaouen center, where there are cafes, restaurants and shops. There is a road behind the hotel that leads to Chefchaouen Waterfalls and spanish mosque which is the best attractions in the city. The hotel staff was very friendly and extremely helpful, which made our stay special and wonderful. I will definitely stay there every time I visit Chefchaouen.

This is my second visit to this sensational hotel, having been here last year. The staff are pleasant and professional - always willing to go above and beyond. The rooms have a fantastic shower and are super clean and comfortable, with wonderful mountain and city views. The breakfast is fresh and has many options, and the hotel restaurant is reasonably priced with a delicious oriental menu. The roof has a terrace with exceptional views of the city. The hotel's location is great being at the centre and easy access to the kasbah,markets and sightseeing the beautiful blue buildings. This is most definitely my go-to hotel when visiting Chefchaouen, and I highly recommend it to everyone!

The receptionists were very welcoming and helpful. The room was neat and clean, the hotel had a quiet rooftop where the whole town lays in front of you, majestic, especially the sight of the big mountains that you see at night but for the first second you think it's clouds!

    We had an absolutely exceptional stay at Dar Wadada, a place full of soul and character perched high above the blue city of Chefchaouen. Far from mass tourism and noise, we found here a home — not a hotel — where you’re welcomed as friends, not guests. Rachid, the owner, is a true one-man show. Warm, attentive, charismatic, always there without ever being intrusive. His presence is felt through every detail, and his team is just as amazing — professional, kind, yet almost invisible. The setting is pure magic: lush greenery, fruit trees, goats, cows, birds, a friendly dog, a curious cat… and a peaceful mountain silence that grounds you instantly. In April, nature is in full bloom — it’s breathtaking. And above all, there’s no need to overthink anything here. Just come as you are, stay simple, and go with the flow. That’s the spirit of Dar Wadada. Thank you Rachid for this unforgettable moment with my wife. We left recharged, lighter, and already dreaming of coming back. If you’re looking for a place rooted in authenticity, connection, and calm — this is it.

    The ryad is situated in a great location in the medina, perched high on a hill that offers an excellent view of the city from the rooftop terrace. The staff gave us a very warm welcome, and provided tea on our arrival. They also provided tea and cookies upon returning from sightseeing for the day. They were there for our every need. We enjoyed the private use of the pool. The room was very clean and secluded, with a wonderful patio that overlooked the city of Chefchaouen. The bathroom was large with a huge walk-in shower.

    Everything was really good. We had a room with a balcony with an amazing view to the city.. Mohamed gave us a little tour of the city because we had some issues with kids surrounding our car and being aggressive because they thought we were taking pictures of them and also right at the parking lot we saw a motorcycle accident with people fighting and blood all over their faces. This was not the Dar fault and Mohamed was so great by reassuring us and guide us through the city center.

    This is the best fitted out room we have seen this past week or so in Morocco. A very short walk into the Medina and a spacious room with all conveniences and a brilliant view. The staff helped out with a tricky transfer on our outbound journey and made our shift to Tangier very smooth.

    Picturesque but very touristy and an excess of street vendors selling many crafts which likely come from China (are not made locally). Extremely hot when we went in July. Very important to get a decent guest house with air conditioning. 2 days is more than enough.

    Yes, it's touristy, but it's so particular with all its blue buildings, in the midst of beautiful nature, that it's a must. Be prepared to climb a few hills! Favourite restaurant: The Twins in the square. Had a few good meals just people watching, and really cheap!

    Gorgeous city tucked into a hillside. We enjoyed the drive from Tangier. Fabulous city for photos (all the gorgeous shades of blue!). We took a cooking class at Cafe Clock - fun, intimate and we made tons of breads an pastries. For us 1.5 days was plenty of time to explore and enjoy. It's a little bit touristy in areas but worth the visit! one of my friends thoroughly enjoyed a massage and bath at a Hamman too.
