The staff was incredibly kind and welcoming. I am a solo traveler and when I reserve a table at a restaurant, I usually get a small table in the back. Not at Maisons Wat Kor! The staff had prepared one of the most beautiful tables at the restaurant for me. The table had an amazing view over the water. I truly appreciate the effort they made. The food was delicious and very reasonably priced. Furthermore, I loved the salt water pool. The temperature of the water was perfect, not too cold. The rooms are spacious and decorated in a traditional Khmer style. The hotel feels authentic. Finally, I booked a massage and it was one of the best massages I ever had. Simply amazing!

Really nice hotel with charme! The beautiful garden with a natur pool is stunning. Food is delicious. Staff was really friendly and helpful. They have a private tuk tuk driver who is a really nice and helpful person with good English knowledge. The owner is always around and asked several time if everything is alright. Really nice people there!

The property is clean, bright, and beautifully designed. The room was spacious with a large, modern bathroom. I was truly amazed by how kind and smiling the staff were — their warmth made a big difference. I already want to come back, and it’s mostly because of this amazing team. I also really enjoyed having my morning coffee on the balcony with a lovely view of the pool. The peaceful atmosphere and stylish interior were the cherry on top.

This hotel is outstanding in every way. It is like an oasis of peace and beauty in the middle of a busy, vibrant city. The staff is very friendly and professional, the hotel beautifully decorated, very clean and offers a great service. We loved the afternoons by the clean, peaceful swimming. Really nice hotel, tucked away off a main road. It's far enough back though, that the noise from the road is not an issue at all. The pool is a great size and has a jacuzzi. The staff were lovely and the breakfast was excellent. I would definitely stay again.

We Just loved it. Classy, elegant, spirit of the 1930 s with memories of ricks cafe in Casablanca. Shady garden,georgues pool,spacious room in colonial style and so friendly staff. Cappuccino for breakfast, free Water refill and quiet but right along a river near Center.

The reception staff upgraded our room without extra charge as I preferred not to be on the ground floor,thank you very much! The room is constructed in Khmer pattern, solid wood and well designed, with a large bathroom The whole hotel architecture is lovely with a beautiful garden and a clean pool. The bar has an extensive drinks list and the cooked breakfast is superb. We also had tasty, freshly made dinner twice and it was delicious,under the moonlight, with a view over the garden. The owner is involved and everything runs smoothly.

Royal Hotel is in the heart of Battambang city, within easy access from various tourist attractions.

The Hotel is very good located and the owner cares about their guests. The pick-up from the bus station worked perfectly. For excursions we can recommend the tuk tuk drivers from the hotel. The furnishings in the rooms are functional, the bed was very comfortable! As a farewell we received a present - thank you very much. If you fancy a good Italian wood-fired pizza, we can highly recommend Pizzeria Claudio Battambang.
