Perfect view of Fuji San and nice hot springs available. Perfect and warm staff who really helped us a lot, like late car picking for our pregnant friend and free delivery of my lost scarf. It is really a pleased and warm trip in the hotel, and would definitely rebook next time.

Everything was amazing. From the prompt pick up from Kawaguchiko Station, to express check out we had a wonderful experience. We booked Fukuchi A and Fukuchi B, a specific person helped you with check in, showed you around the facility and to your room. Suggest you check in as early as you can. Once you reach your room, you get a sweet and a roasted green tea. Then you can change into your yukata, visit the tea ceremony house and explore the three lounges (unlimited snack and alcohol, a wine lounge with like 30 different types of local alcohol), the amazing garden, settle into your own dining room in your room for a 9 course dinner then the taiko drums at 2030, bingo right after, piano session with free drink after that. Your own room has its own onsen, but there's also a public one on level 1 and level 10 with amazing view of Mt Fuji. The view from your room is also top notch. We checked in at 1430 but I would suggest to use all the facilities in time to arrive earlier than that, store the luggage and check in later. At least you can start exploring the garden and other facilities beforehand!! Very responsive with messaging. Most staff speak minimal English but have translators. With other reviews asking staff to speak English, I'd like to add I'd rather go to a ryokan which is authentic and staff speak minimal English. After all, it'll mean it mainly caters for Japanese guests (which means it's not a overseas touristy place and a very Japanese experience) and if we're visiting another country, good to learn some Japanese phrases out of respect. My elderly parents had no issues with simple Japanese phrases for communication.

A house with a great view of Fujisan. We are a party of 2 adults and 1 child but we chose the chalet which can accompany 6 people because of the view of the Fujisan and it was all worth it! The house is very cozy and we felt at home. The kitchen was well equipped they even gave us the condiments to cook. The beds are futon Japanese style. Amazing patio with a view and they can provide BBQ at extra charge. Plenty of parking spaces and there is a small children playground in front. We really felt at home while staying 3 nights there and will definitely return. Remember to book the big house, the view was amazing.

The most thoughtful and kind staff we've met in Japan yet. The room had the most comfy beds and high quality, eco friendly amenities, and a amazing view of Yamanashi and Mount Fuji. The hotel is very charming and has an ample public bath with many shower heads and the best massage machine I've ever used (¥100 each 5 min). If you plan to visit the nearby Hottarakashi onsen, the staff will kindly lend you towels and schedule a taxi (it cost around ¥3000 the round trip). My husband and I stayed for only one night, but we wish we'd stayed at least 3 nights to enjoy more of Fruits Park. Will definitely come back!!

We stayed at the cottage B. It is a very spacious place with 3 bathrooms including one large bathroom with jacuzzi bathtube. There are 4 sleeping room. One sleeping room in the second floor having a window that you can see fuji mountain, the city and lake. The kitchen is large and having enough space and facility to cook for I thing 20 persons. Large areas for barbecue. The hotel has shuttle bus to take you to nearby supermarket to buy food! Our family really enjoyed the time we stayed.

I had a 2 night stay in Konanso. The staff is very welcoming and polite, maybe it helps that i speak Japanese. However, they also speak English. Rooms are spacious, clean and with wonderful views. There is a person in charge of your stay that will bring you dinner each night and ask if you need anything. Dinner served at the bedroom is delicious, and the onsen is gorgeous. Would recommend 10/10. Breakfast is also excellent, with western and japanese food.

The room was beautiful and well kept, it was a very cool experience for Americans who have never seen a traditional Japanese style accommodation. The view of Mount Fuji from the roof was worth the walk up the stairs and the Onsen was clean and beautiful. Also when you check in the lake front viewing area with snacks was just the place to warm up and watch the beautiful area.

This is a beautiful hotel, with a stunning view of mount Fuji. The staff is super friendly and respectful, they treat you in a “old fashion way” that nowadays is missing in many “self check in/out” hotels. They have an hourly shuttle service to/fro Kawaguchiko St.

For a single room it was fairly spacious compared to other single rooms I've had before. The whole bathroom is higher which is a little weird but not a problem, maybe if you're elderly this would be an issue, otherwise the room was fine, comfy bed.

Hokuto is a bit of an off-the-beaten-track destination, perfect for a weekend or even 3 or four days. Surrounded by beautiful nature, it's a great place for hikers - since it's located at the base of the Yatsugatake mountain range. The adventurers can go explore the hiking trails and waterfalls, but also there are charming cafes, art galleries and international cuisine restaurants splattered in the area. I would avoid going there by car on a Saturday morning, because the Chuo Express Road gets packed and it may take up to six hours to get there from Tokyo (the normal is 2 hours). So if you can, go on a weekday.
