The main reason i’m leaving a review is because of how helpful the staff were. I asked about sending a parcel back to the UK as we’d purchased too many things so we needed to post it back. Immediately all three of the staff were on it trying to find all information and quotes on this. The hotel even sold boxes for 200 yen, and Oishi (one of the staff) taped it all up for us and helped us pack it with packing paper as well. Amazing service. It's very good to visit for 3 days, as you will have time and opportunity to visit Fuji Five Lakes, Mount Fuji, and, if needed, easily travel to Osaka and Kyoto using the Shinkansen. The Ropeway, pirate ship, and Hakone shrine are among the best things to experience. Chiba is an amazing city and because Star Wars Celebration...
Chiba is an amazing city and because Star Wars Celebration 2025 was held there this year, I had to come and visit. The city is only about an hour away from Tokyo and going there from Chiba was easy to do. Locally speaking, Chiba offers many different places to eat (some of the best donuts I've ever had came from a donut shop called Uni Donuts close to the hotel I stayed at) and a cool Anime hobby store.Guest review byOliver - 10.0

The Toshugo shrine was amazing and well worth the trip. If you travel on to Takayama I recommend seeing the one tenth scale model of the shrine complex which is almost unbelievable in its detail and precision. Nikko is quite a sleepy town and many restaurants shut very early so I recommend making a reservation. The Nikko pass is worth purchasing, we enjoyed a day sightseeing on the local buses and trains. We were attending a event in Kawasaki so that is why we stayed there. We didn't really do much sight-seeing in Kawasaki. We liked that the city was only a short train ride to many other cities like downtown Toyko and Yokohama.
