It is clearly an attraction for the local community and there were lots of non-hotel visitors in the hotel. Great food! Our room was on a corner and we had beautiful views. Also, plenty of car parking. I would highly recommend.

New ZealandFantastic historic castello! Our room was very roomy and comfortable. The staff exceptional and the owner very friendly, helpful and a delight! Good country location and easy drive into Sienna and a good quiet base for visiting surrounding villages in tuscany. The restaurant cuisine was also an added bonus and very nice indeed!

The property was everything we imagined a romantic Tuscany vacation would be. It was so authentic. The room was beautiful and they do such a wonderful job at cleaning it. The details every time they cleaned were amazing. It is a big property a little bit away from all the buzz and the fuzz so you have a lot of privacy and some peace and quiet. The staff is extremely kind and helpful. We had a lot of fun meeting them and talking to them. The breakfast is amazing, a lot of different options. The dinner is not really filling is more of an experience. Even tho it was a bit pricey we had a lot of fun. We are definitely coming back!

We spent 8 wonderful days in il Caggio. The farm is in a calm district with view to the Tuscan hills and small towns. The apartment was rustic, well-equipped, comfortable and clear. The owner Rebecca and her colleagues were very friendly and helpful. We received fantastic breakfasts every morning and took part in tipical Tuscan dinners. All the food tasted by us was homemade and very-very delicious. It's worth to taste the locally produced olive oil and the jams. These are also fantastic. Thanks for everything!

I stayed several times at this accomodation, since i felt in love from the first time with it! The place is really nice, location is very green and surrounded by a kind of forest, with a beautfiul view to sunrise. They have apartments and studios with all ammenities needed, and you can take the breakfast on a terrace. It is the best breakfast i had in Italy in all acomodations, with fresh products (cheeses, salami, pies etc).

EVERYTHING! Federica and her family is so amazing, they really care for their guests. We had breakfast included and she take so much care to prepare also gluten free, lactose free and vegan breakfast. It was so worth it and delicious. The food is all bio, they produce everything by themself. It’s truly a gem. We are coming back 100%!

Absolutely amazing peaceful place for vacation. A well-maintained swimming pool right next to the rooms with a beautiful view of the distant hills. Good breakfast. Very helpful staff. They even allowed us to shorten our stay without penalty due to our son's illness. We were very satisfied in every way.

Near Siena less than 15' from Porta Tuffi , easy parking . I had booked a hotel inside Siena but the car restrictions and the difficulty to park drive me to Sovicille . I didnt go anywhere to Sovicille and i only eat once in a good italian Osteria La piazzetta

The manager took care of us even before we reached the place. We have been called to make sure that everithing was ok on our trip and had brief but precise indications, in fact the place is in the middle of astonishing but very off-hand hills, which is what you may be searching for. We got there very late but everything was prepared for us, we could also get some good appetizers and wine despite the kitchen had just closed. A porcupine (Hystrix cristata), 2 foxes and an owl welcomed us on the way to our apartment. We stayed just overnight but the sleep was so recovering from our long trip and the breakfast certainly gave me, my wife and the kids the right energy for the coming day. The place is wonderful and the personnel are all so kind. Before leaving, just because I liked the whole situation, I decided to buy a can of oil (Extra Virgin First Press....ça va sans dir) without even tasting it. Now that I did I can confirm that you should not leave without.

This is an ideal location for anyone who wants quiet rural beauty. This stop was between busy city visits so it felt like a great change of pace on our 5 week vacation. We stayed for 4 nights and there is just enough to do in nearby cities if you want a daily outing(Assisi, for example), but honestly I opted out of some of those and enjoyed the pool and outdoor and indoor beauty of the property. There are a couple of other apartments on the property but you really only become aware of others at the pool which is large and offers plenty of space between loungers. Ideal for anyone wanting a quiet beauty rest spot.
Easy to use the beautiful kitchen to prepare meals or drive to restaurants.

An awful experience. Appalling management supervision. For a medium priced stay so much more was expected. In 32 degree heat the pool opens but one isn't offered any service until midday. Surly waiter at pool.
Items disappeared from our room. No feedback from management, except an apology and offer to replace. Dirty coffee/tea cups left unreplaced/cleaned. Coffee station not replenished. Same 8 items on main (and only) restaurant menu for 5 days. Food not good. They boiled a steak! I hope that I have given future consideration for this hotel the warning I wish I had seen.

The whole area is very beautiful, lots of small villages on hill tops, hidden gems, while in a perfect central spot in Tuscany. You can either stay in the area (Siena and San Gimignano still only 30-40 minutes drive), or explore further (Florence just an hour away).
