- From US$377.78 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 9.2Superb - What previous guests thought, 1,941 reviewsThis was one of our highlights on our trip around Italy. The staff were so welcoming, helpful and kind catering to all our needs and questions we had. The bugger breakfast was 10/10, beautiful fresh breads and kitchen staff cooking you omelettes and a barista making you fresh coffee that is brought to your table by waiters. This was no extra charge, all part of the service. We did a “fancy” dinner at the properties restaurant. The food was delicious and the wine was perfect to wash it down with. It was so nice to have a break from the cities , that are heavily populated with tourist to be in open farm land and enjoy the Tuscan surroundings.Guest review bySarahAustralia

Siena is full of wonderful architecture, art and places to enjoy BUT for anyone interested in the early Sienese painting of Duccio et al NB the Pinacoteca Nazionale has closed the entire floor of early paintings for the foreseeable future for upgrading the eco standards etc from August 2025. A major gap!Guest review byAdamUnited Kingdom - 10.0

We liked exploring the entire City and were fastinated with the old buildings. Only negative comment would be fact you need to pay for the use of the washroom. Most were dirty and lacked toilet seats.Guest review byDanielCanada - 10.0

Nothing not to like!! Ercolani had excellent free winetour and tasting-fantastic wine! Wonderful Pattiserie with great variety of fresh tasty pastries right at entrance of old town! Plenty of good places to eat with great variety. People very friendly! Streets beautiful!Guest review byMarianeSouth Africa - 10.0

Pienza is a fantastic hilltop town with wonderful views over the Val D'Orcia valley. It has wonderful streets, restaurants, and historical sites to explore. My morning coffee and croissant in Piazza Magiore will stay in my memory for a long time. You have to go back there and basta :)Guest review byPawełPoland - 6.0
Beautiful Tuscan town.
Beautiful Tuscan town. But the two main churches are closed on Saturdays and Sundays, if you can believe it... Better stay in Peinza or Montepulciano. But Sant'Antimo Abbey, 10 kms away, is a world wonder.Guest review byChristopheFrance - 8.0
The town is nice.
The town is nice. It is a quiet time of the year, but the merchants we encountered were friendly. The Terme Theia was ok, but the management inflexible when I tried to inform them of a booking error within 24hours of making it they did not reply to my emails, and when I spoke to the they said that once I paid there was no refund or changes. I prefer the Terme sensoriale, but unfortunately they are only open on weekendsGuest review byKathleenItaly - 8.0
The apartement was even nicer than pictures.
The apartement was even nicer than pictures. There was oil and a bit of vinegar as well as salt and pepper. It would have been nice to have a few more amenities. The pool looked really nice but we did not have time to take advantage of it. Check in was easy even though we arrived very late at night. Same for the check out.Guest review byPatriciaCanada - 10.0
I have been to Tuscany more times than I can count.
I have been to Tuscany more times than I can count. This is my first time stopping in and staying in Colle di Val d'Elsa. The location is very close to all the major sites in Tuscany. Volterra and San Gimignano are extremely closeby as well as Chianti. There is a charm to the old town area of Colle di Val d'Elsa, not a ton of tourists like the other sites in the area.Guest review byD. CaronanItaly - 10.0
Castellina in Chianti is a beautiful village.
Castellina in Chianti is a beautiful village. Lovely wine farms to visit. It is a great location for a 30 minute drive into Siena or San Gimignano and lots of other charming Tuscan villages. A great place to relax and enjoy the scenery.Guest review byJuliaUnited States - 10.0

Fantastic little town with tonnes of restaurants and cafes to choose from. The museum ticket is great value as it gets you into lots of the historic sights. We enjoyed the weaponry exhibit as you were allowed to hold and try on the different artefacts which was cool! We parked nearby and paid with card on exit (only line up at the ticket machine if you’re paying cash). The onsite wine shop (connected to the popular winery near by) was delicious too. Would definitely recommend this town for people to visit and dine at!Guest review byLyndalAustralia
