Amazing value for money. Modern interior, clean room, friendly staff and private underground parking. On top of all that the place is dog friendly. For my personal needs this checks all the boxes. There is a coffe machine in the room for an espresso in the morning and a tea kettle. Additionally a tap and glass bottle to refill free filtered cold water in the hallway. (even sparkling) Check in/check out was quick and easy.

Nice spacious room. We:d strongly recommend staying here if you fly in late. Both the men on reception on arrival and the following morning were friendly and helpful. We had a recommendation for a restaurant late that night which we enjoyed and the following morning we were given advice on where to visit in Catania and numerous options for dining out in Ortigia where we were heading to and where the gentleman was from.( Great recommendations - thank you)

The view was just breathtaking as well as the hotel itself. It is right next to the archeological park and everything was just like taken out of a dream. The staff was amazing and available at any time. If you can, choose the rooms with a view of the temples as you won't regret it, if you don't you might. Also, breakfast at the hotel was outstanding.

The resort is situated in a beautiful location with volcanoe , Mt Etna always in one’s view. The hotel and golf course are worth the some what stressful drive up to it’s location. Hotel staff were professional, friendly, and caring to guests needs. Food was delicious with reasonable rates. Room with a breathe taking view of a plush vineyard. Ok the golf course. Great staff. Course is in great shape. Greens hard and fast. Fairways mostly narrow bordered by old in bloom leaves. Very little water. Only issue of concern was that fact of two free roaming dogs which I saw running on the back nine. Golf staff assured me both friendly farm dogs. I highly recommend the hotel and golf course.

I cannot rate this hotel and it's staff high enough. From the moment we arrived the staff could not do enough to help us. I have never experienced a hotel with calibre of staff. The hotel reception and terrace is lovely as are the rooms, beds are very comfortable. The beach is beautiful, with lovely clear water and we were the only ones on there for my morning swim. Unfortunately we only stayed one night at this hotel but I would definately come back for a longer holiday.

For those who like newer facilities, the hotel was modern and had a lovely spa. The rooms were huge with state of the art showers. We were most impressed with the hotel manager, Girolamo Liga, who took the time to explain the hotel amenities and went above and beyond to make sure we were happy. The old city centre has numerous points of interest.

The old city centre has numerous points of interest. The restaurants are plentiful and our food experience was very good. We participated in a street food walk-about and a separate restaurant based cooking class. Both were very enjoyable experiences. The caution pertains to the many scooters that are driven by young people on very narrow 'streets' with seemingly little regard for pedestrians.

If you have not been to Catania before, you might be a bit taken aback by the run-down look of the city as there is plenty of graffiti on the walls. However, once you get past this, you'll find that the city has ALOT to offer. Beautiful buildings, fantastic history, buildings and architecture. Wonderful food and food markets, interesting art. Even some of the graffiti looked cool. It doesn't make a great first impression but it definitely grows on you. A tip - if you're on a budget and want to buy some mementos to take home, don't buy at the 'first' place you get to - stroll around the city streets and compare prices. Some places charge alot less for same items than others, and the tourist items in the city shops and markets cost alot less than at the airport.

Trapani is a small city which deserves exploring and getting to know. Lots of hidden gems and beautiful sights. The Museum of Optical Illusions is great. Beautiful sandy beach, crystal clear blue water, with delicious restaurants everywhere. Lots to enjoy, from walking along the beach or simply relaxing in one of the many sunbeds available (for a fair price), to boat rents or boat trips to other locations nearby. Without knowing about it, we arrived in the last days of the Cous Cous feast, which was a great surprise. The city was crowded, but we could see how important the fest is for all the locals and the tourists.

Alot of people do not speak english, and everything there including street sign are in ilalian. Had an excustion to the godfather on a hop on hop off bus(green) I had ordered from Get Your Guide and went 2 hours early and the direction they gave us was wrong and couldnt find the place for pick up in mountain. Had no wifi on my phone, even when i paid extra to get itWIFI on my phone. Tried to ask people but on one knew where to go. Traffic was terrible where the address was to pick up. So i ended up not making the excurion, and company is not giving me a refund. Also the rest RISTORANTE SABBIE D' ORO charged us $162.00(euro) for a 1 lobster. They stood over us until we order, couldnt speak english and the menu said 18 euros for a one lobster, thought that was a good price. Pressed us with extra stuff we did not want to order, because we could not understand them. Then we go to pay there system was down and couldnt take no visa or MC. Our bill was $350 eros. We had to go to atm machine and they charged us $75 to take money out of machine. BAD EXPERINCE!!!!!! I would suggest not to go there.
